Nothing like a nice hot meal on a cold snowy day 😋. Great idea with the heated vest. Glad you're back missed your videos to see how the truck is holding up. Hopefully the battery issue will get cleared up.

Those heated vests really worked! No joke, they were great. Appreciate the well wishes, still working out the kinks.

@OG, We operate a small organic teaching farm near the outskirts of Eugene, Oregon. That 27°f was an anomaly. Eugene is usually a balmy 35°f...

We were both like, wait, did they stay north for winter? I thought they were Arizona bound... go figure, winter found you there too! Great video! The chili looked delicious. :) Impressive b-roll by the way, very enjoyable video. :)

Haha there’s no escaping winter! Lol actually that’s one of the things we live about AZ. Pick your climate! Just no beach… thanks for the kind comments guys 🙏❤️

I had never heard of graupel. That kind of precipitation is usually called wintry mix by the weather people on the east coast.
@OverlandUncharted2 жыл бұрын
It's a real thing! We're from the east coast believe it or not. I've heard the weather guessers use it before :) but yes, I suppose it is all considered wintry mix when combined together. Thanks for watching :)

I remember the video when it was your last day at work, Jen ,as you were getting ready for your fantastic journey. I have enjoyed following you! You can never tell about AZ. When our boys were 4 & 8 we took a tent camping trip from Ca. Devil's Postpile, to Death Valley, Lake Havasu to Grand Canyon in Oct. It has snowed the day we left, had the boys wait in the car while my husband and I broke up camp! Freezing! So at least you have a nice, warm "BOX" to retreat to. Loving your adventures!

Sounds like a great trip you had when the kids were young! Cold, maybe, but you def made some memories, right? Man- talk about throwback, that last day of work....hahaha, wow little did we know all that was in front of us! It was a big leap of faith then and the story is still unfolding. Thank you so much for following along!

Wow that chili sure looked! I bet you were too cold to enjoy it. The boys were sure having a good time while mom was slaving away over that stove. Now go somewhere warmer!

haha, we have indeed sough refuge in warmer weather! It was shock after not being in snow for quite some time :) Thanks for tuning in!

what about a tent you can put stove in and wood, you would be out of the elements for cooking and keeping everything dry and a little warmer and easy to pack .. great adventures :)

A strong thumb 'UP' for your B-roll: * camera in motion * varying elevation * varying distances. This video is easy to watch. . PS: Any video over about six minutes, I usually set 'playback' to 1.25x or faster. Any video over ten minutes, I often watch at 1.75x... with commercials, who has a half-hour to sit and stare at a telephone. . I allow the commercials to run while I read the comments. I hope this helps!
