Overlanding Africa: Botswana | Ep 6 | Tough Cutline Route - The Road Less Traveled

We make our way from Magotho to Savuti - The wild side of Botswana doesn’t end and we love every moment.
Even though the 79 series is wet - we are still having an incredible trip!!
This was probably the most intense road we have driven, not in a muddy get stuck sense - just a tough, demanding and energy consuming drive!!
Call me the Botswana cutline landscape guru ;)

Watching this one a bit out of order! Incredible footage we could "smell" the transmission from over here in Oz in that sandy scrub...proof you need that sweet V8 4.5 power. It was hectic!! The Jimny is super capable!! While we didn’t drive it ourselves we heard Coba and Jacque were very happy with it - they didn’t complain once but it did severely impact the fuel consumption!!

The Jimmy will always perform well OFFROAD, reason it never got stuck on this trip it’s light weight, that combined with the driver was deadly 😂.
