Overlanding Denali Hwy's Valdez Creek Road - Attempt to Roosevelt Lake

Knowing when to turn around is showing good common sense. Is Valdez Creed road a locale name for that road you were driving on. I've checked 4 different maps showing that road and none of them listed a name for it.

It is. I don't think the road exists for any other true reason than to allow mine access in the area. Roosevelt Lake is on the maps and Onyx Off Road recognizes the trail to it as well. Beautiful area and working on a video now that shows our redemption in August.

@@alaskafamilyoverlandadvent5047 No problem finding Roosevelt Lake on my maps ,just don't have Onyx Off Road. I'm looking for roads like the one to Roosevelt Lake for my 3rd trip to Alaska in 2023 to explore.

Maps and Alaska are a pain for us on planning too. So many cool routes don't make common maps. We live in Alaska and have learned about many places watching KZbin and other travelers.
