Glad you mentioned that you have a lethal back up, you just never know. For non-lethal tools I prefer bright orange, yellow or red which clearly signify non-lethal. If ever you are in a situation where an officer is brought into the scene I don't want them to mistake my non-lethal tool for a lethal one, just my choice.

That thought did occur to me when purchasing the black. On the flip side I don’t want someone glancing at it and thinking I have a toy to defend myself either. My hope is I never have to find out either way.

I’m concerned with your self defense launcher. If you pulled it on someone, they more than likely might assume it is a firearm and may pull their real firearm and return fire. On the wildlife, but for humans may cause a terrible disaster for all involved.

Cops across America carry less lethal options every day. It is always better to have another tool in the toolbox. A situation may come up where a lethal option is unwarranted and you have this option. This is a good option and gives you some standoff...I hadn't seen it before but will look in to it.

When I saw the title of the video I was intrigued to see what you keep in your truck because I just got back from the Smokie's over the holiday and cleaned the Taco out. I decided to take inventory of what is in the truck and made a list of where everything was located. I think we almost have the same load out. I also keep a Plano foot locker box with my camp gear to throw in when I get an itch. Things change season to season but mostly not. Funny we did the same thing Monday LOL! Great video!

Great video! We have a couple of things from Step 22 and love their stuff, top quality. Same with Blue Ridge Overland Gear. I might have missed it but do you have a small battery jumper? Or are you able to use your bed batteries to start in an emergency? I carry a Type S that I got from Costco (about $60) in each of our vehicles, and I've had to use it several times already to help other people and on my own once when my battery was no longer good. Much easier and more manageable than jumper cables IMO (I still carry a set of those too).

Hey Matt.. what do you do for trash management? I have a Trasharoo that I took off my old rig (that had a spare tire off the end). After I got the JT, I strapped it to the bed and worked fine... up until I needed to lower the bed hatch and the trash was full. Do you just toss the trash bag in the bed until you're in a place to throw it away or do you have another system?
@OzarkOverlandAdventures

I actually don't take a lot of things that create trash except for some food storage that gets put in a small trash bag. We don't use water bottles or paper plates or plastic utensils. Everything is washable. What trash we do have gets put in the back of the Gladiator until we get to a gas station where I get rid of it.
