Thx for the video. Some of the trails don't look like Hwy 105. Looks more like the Wilson Creek Area around Hwy 90 and Betsy's store near Mortimer NC. Also looks like y'all might have been on Old School House Gap road.

I remember back in high school taking a 5 speed Subaru Outback across linville mountain running 50+mph just absolutely bashing it

Yes brown mountain beach road intersection hwy 90 .its been a minute since I was up there used to make some of the best hot dogs. We would stop there after riding brown mountain ohv trails system.

Good video. Love it out there. But where are you guys at where it was really rutted out? I’ve not seen anything like that on either side of the gorge or around Wilson’s creek. Thanks.

I have to laugh a little. Evidently you do not know much about the area, but this little trek educated you a little more. Other than than Kistler Memorial Highway, you traveled other roads you did not mention by name such as the road going up Wilson's Creek, etc. Good start, keep going.
