oh, yes , i was at epupa falls in Februar 23 and it was 40 Grad hot on the last camping ground right had, alone, no guests. the road to swartboisdrift was broken by flood after 70 KM so we retuned to epupa. OH what a nice country. Peter, germany

The falls and drone shots made it and the fresh new territory to explore must have been special for you all. Shkowei river lodge is lovely...however I much prefer Ngepi river lodge further up.. of not more beautiful with Grass campsites.....wonderful there...however they all beautiful...those sunsets and the bird life...just wow

If I had to choose I’d choose Shakawe over Ngepi. Ngepi’s become very commercial and I much prefer the Shakawe region over Divundu.

Glad to hear the roads in Namibia are still amazing. Was so in 1993 ;). The wider ones were done that way so that military aircraft could land on them back when the place was SW Africa and troops had to be moved around quickly ;).
