the heavy mouse advice (id say over 70 grams ) is horrible because the lower the wait the lower the inertia meaning thats itll be way easier for u move to back after just having flick or just moved idk if it makes sense but basically u definitely dont want inertia so go with a decently low weight and shape u like its way more important then weight ( below like 50 the difference is really just shape )

Agree. Lighthouse plus control pad makes it easier to track. Heavy mouse is a pain to track when enemy switch direction. Initial friction plays a big role

i love how you included tac shooters in the games that can utilize tracking. i started on glass pad about 2004 in css and went to LAN with it with some success. then i switched to a deskmat because i wanted a bigger pad(both pads from corepad). after a myriad of mice and pads i am back to glass. it took me about 5 months with rigorous training to go from a venus pro to a superglide. but now i just can't go back. i just love using it in cs2 DM(premier is overrun with cheaters currently, thus unplayable). it was very uncomfortable at first but i recognized the potential of using it in tac shooters. instead of digging your mouse out of a mud pit for every single, super quick micro adjustment, why not remove this resistance as much as possible? it finally came together with the sora v2. i needed that light weight, because it's easier to slow down your flicks. imagine flinging a 70g brick across glass and reel it back under control. the 30g difference does make a difference, at least for me. for tracking i just used VDIM and finally got some good scores in the top 10 in aimlabs in some novice scenarios. this was also only possible due to the pad and a higher refresh rate monitor. seeing the target crystal clear while it's moving is (to me at least) the most helpful tool to achieve good teacking scores. less friction does help too with enough hours spent in training. but i agree with you, not everyone has the time and resources to spend to get good at such niche skill in the grand theme of things.

Yeah there are still people that dont use light mice. I personally use the logitech g502 hero with all the weights added

Do you think people should buy what fits their mousecontrol right now, as in perhaps a heavier mouse and slower pad, if their aim isn't smooth and stable, or should they buy a faster pad and lighter mice early, so they may improve at a faster rate (and perhaps save some money) ?

I feel like in that situation they should hop on aim trainers and benchmark all of their aim aspects until they figure out what is weakest part. Playing around with that info can lead you to answer what is preventing them from improving. Could be skill issue itself or it could be a mouse and mousepad that doesnt fit them

Microphone itself is pretty clean but the shock mount and arm itself are dirty and beaten as it gets. Those two taken place in this studio and in garage where I was doing a lot of mice modding and creation of my own mouse. A lot of dust, debris, cigarettes smokes and etc got stuck to it to the point where its not possible to clean hahahah
