I'm a Reaper main. I started playing Overwatch when it was released, and back then, I was quite an edgy girl, so I basically looked at the characters in the game and picked the most gothic one. Nowadays, I've outgrown that phase, but my love for Reaper has remained. These days, I don't take Overwatch too seriously; I play normal games while listening to music, and I find Reaper's gameplay very relaxing, chill, and satisfying. I'm not a competitive person, so I don't really care about winning or losing; I just want to play without getting stressed, and most of the time, I can manage to do it.

Honestly the real complaint is OW Devs hating on Shotgun heroes because the whole Community hated one shots when they didn't specify which character, Shotguns are high risk high reward one shots, while snipers are no risk all reward, which is exactly why Hanzo is considered skilless, due to the fact that you can spam his arrows and lay far more damage into the enemies than a Widow possibly can at a higher skill floor too, so you could be dogshit on Hanzo and still beat half the enemy team while widow takes positioning, calculation and skill, Albeit it's just Point and Click adventure like an OSU game. Reaper is an "Easy to play, hard to master" hero, his high risk high reward gameplay has been shat on thanks to the damage nerf he recieved upon entry to OW2, he is still good, but FAR too reliant on the team when his playstyle is DEFINITELY not a team reliant character, but more a self sufficient hero.

My version of the venture stereotype: "you are the personification of a walking question mark the second you chose the character as everyone on the team has to ask themselves the question of whether or not you have adhd and cant sit around a corner to poke for a dive opportunity for 15 seconds BEFORE diving in. Venture requires so much restraint and awareness of your limits that it's so often for people to dive the enemy back line, blow all their cooldowns, have no escape plan and die. You either have the most deaths out of everyone in the match or are functionally immortal as you always have a drill dash or burrow in your back pocket the instant anything threatens you. If you're an older player then you reminisce about dps doomfist every day and wish blizzard would return all of his 'tech' (janky and inconsistent bugs) into the game."

As a Symmetra main (though it’s debatable, because I play various heroes), I can say that you can’t just play her in any map, but she can work if you know how to flank with the teleport. I also don’t understand why most people don’t use the teleport for quick and repetitive position swaps? You can evade various attacks and buy a lot of time. You also forgot to mention how many changed Symmetra went through. I’ve been playing her since 2016 and her gameplay changed a lot since then, though I have to admit that the current one is the best.
