The Zombie boss looks different later on because the serum has regenerating capabilities and his face started to heal. We can see more of this healing when the camera zooms in on one of Ford`s wounds and it started to heal up kinda like Wolverine but slower.

the way i took it the Nazis were trying to create super soldiers to win the war that could take an immense amount of damage ... even regen from death unless burned or headshots. The SS commander does say the 1000 year Reich requires 1000 year soldiers. I cant remember them referring to them as Zombies during the film although it does fit with the well established definition from other media of what a Zombie is. The action scenes were pretty cool and the gun sounds were really meaty. Fun film. Enjoyed it.

I watched overlord yesterday really entertaining for a low budget of 38 million. Somehow created a really tight action plot driven movie 🍿. This is a film where if you like the trailer you will like the film which is not always the case. I also went to see widows the same day which was fantastic unfortunately widows is the better imo, but they are 2 different films ones serious the other a popcorn flick but both highly recommend.

I give this film a solid 9/10. "Why don't they pop the balloons??" The cannon balls rebound right off the balloons. "Why doesn't the wooden shrapnel pop the balloons??" The balloon is made out of special material, so the wooden shrapnel doesn't penetrate it... "His face was less fucked up later on." The serum provides him with regenerative healing abilities. "Shooting him in the chest doesn't work." We saw the woman empty a whole clip of pistol ammo into a super Nazi zombie's head, and it did nothing. You have to burn the creatures thoroughly to kill them, splatter their heads completely, decapitate them, or fully vapourise them. A simple bullet to the head will not do it due to the regenerative healing abilities.

I don't understand how him killing the person he turned into a zombie wasn't appropriate. He was the one who brought his friend back from the dead, it was his friend that was wailing and screaming at him while trying to kill him for what he has done. After all he's seen till that point in the movie, of course he would need some kind of way to relieve him of all the stress, anger and fear. And what better way at the time than resort to violence? Also, the Germans killed a lot of U.S soldiers in the opening scenes.

Hey guys, the reason they put the tower and lab in the church was due to the Allies fairly stringent adherence to the Geneva Convention Accords. Basically you are not allowed to fire on or at a church or hospital, if your not fired upon from it. There are set rules of engagement, including the treatment of prisoners in uniform, wounded, civilian combatants and non-combatants. The rules have changed since they were originally set down after World War 1 to this day. My training in them in the 80's is probably out of date. But I must admit, this was a great movie. Thanks for recommending it.

as a Mexican I have no remorse of saying this being historical accurate its something very important ok it is science fiction but seeing a black guy as ww2 soldier in a high position in the us army and in the lead roll got me out of focus. I see black guy in ww2 i remember Man of Honor Robert Deniro and cuba gooding jr and then place the zoombies. JJ you are totally pc the next WW2 film will have Chiness Indians and Mexicans in the USA army as captain

I like how it was a ww2 movie and slowly turned into a horror movie. Like they were paratroopers and you'd think "I hope they survive" and then some crazy shit would happen you'd think "wow. I wonder what other secrets the Germans have" and "holy shit, that was gruesome" I liked it a lot.
