Overlord v1.1 - Shape Updating

Every time I select "push selection to AE" from AI, it generates a new layer instead of adding keyframes to the existing layer. I've twirled down, highlighted, and keyframed the path but to no avail.

As long as you select the Ae path or the group that contains it, and a single shape in Ai the system shouldn't have trouble updating the selected Ae path. If you can send over a screencapture to [e-mail] I'd be happy to take a look.

Would it work with all the selected paths, for example with whole face or do I have to select and pull all the shapes one-by-one?

Sadly, it's one path at a time. There's a lot of weird stuff going on with the hierarchy differences between apps that make it a little too intensive to check for differences and still be responsive and send multiple paths. 😫

Do you have to select the same shape in order to transfer gradients? I notice you don't do it the same way as the other shape layers, and I can't get it to work that way.

The update targeting is based on what you select. If you select the shape it will only do the shape. if you select the fill it will only update the fill. If you select the parent group that holds the shape and the fill it will update both.
