As a local, I never recommend friends to stay at this hotel unless vintage vibe is their thing. Dining here is a good idea though.

A majestic place indeed. I loved the stern look of Madam Chiang Kai-Shek in your intro. She was a serious lady. I really liked the views of Taipei from your room and the crabs on ice. A great combo.
