@@tabithaletterman3595 My hubby used to live in Cherokee & worked in Asheville (over 30 yrs ago), & my sister-in-law is from Brevard & I used to go visit her & her family coz her little sister is my age & we became good friends when my brother & her sister got married! (My brother is buried near Hendersonville. It's beautiful there.) - so my hubby & daughter & I are familiar with that area. Also my cousin lives close to Cherokee now & we go see him occasionally. It's so beautiful there in the mountains!! Have you ever been to watch for the "Brown Mountain Lights"? I have always wanted to but just haven't done it yet. From what I've heard it is a real phenomenon, not a made up urban legend. I've seen documentaries on it & it's really interesting. No one has EVER been able to debunk it! Spooky!!

I’m from this area and unfortunately the library lease was terminated and is no longer a library. When I was a kid, I went to a summer camp upstairs, it definitely felt spooky. Recently, a local business bought the building and converted the downstairs to a coffee shop (the coffee is wonderful!) and they also do framing for pictures and artwork. They’re still working on fixing it up, mainly upstairs. My friend and I went there yesterday and we went upstairs and it felt cold, and had a creepy energy. If anyone is in the area, it’s worth checking out and getting a good cup of coffee!

I went to boarding school in the uk, it was a spooky large old house. We had some classes downstairs in an outbuilding , upstairs was our library. I’m an avid bookworm and spent hours up there amongst old children’s books from another era. It was definitely v spooky and I often felt I wasn’t alone...There were some v scary parts of that school, the scariest being the nasty old headmistress!
