My grandad was in the army so when u said they were serving cold drinks made sense straight away if u r cold drink something cold to make ur body cooler than the room temp and vice versa if u r hot drink a hot drink u will be hotter than room temp therefore able to cool down a lot quicker feel like a lot of ppl know that now but defo a mad survival skill to have if u know how to do it properly I’m the only one chilling during the heatwaves in Britain iykyk 🤣
