Been with this guy since lake superior windstorms under different usernames. Over 4 Year's now. Before life happened (pre covid nightmare), not much time, but since covid, an eternity. This channel has helped me spirituality like nothing else. I've remained active and employed as a truck driver before and through these times, but I get low of spirit much sooner then I used to and this channel helps keep me out of depression. Thanks Matthew, you mean more to some people than you probably realize. May sound stupid, but the truth is the truth. Cheers 🍻

Glad that Funk's mum is improving. When we used to go camping mossies and flies used to be a royal pain. We found some really strong citronella burners and the relief was almost instant, not 100% effective but probably around 80% or so. I was diagnosed with Pulmonary Fibrosis 5 years ago, it is terminal, but there are many more people worse off than me so I don't make a big deal out of it. It was due to this that my wife and I stopped camping with our kids and sometimes the dogs, we have 9 doggies. When I tickle our Pyrenean Mountain dog, she loves it and it helps to clear out the dead fur as she is really big and furry. Great to see Monty and you out having fun.

Love the videos Mat. Monty makes me laugh. Such a character. I left a comment saying that Monty could use a life Jacket. My friend does Search and Rescue in B.C. He told me many dogs have drowned since he started in 2011. Mostly from capsized boats too far from shore. Probably a good idea when you're crossing the big lakes, especially when it's windy. Cheers

Monty is such a patient fisherman's dog. So laid back 😌. Bet supper was delish. I hope healthwise in your families everyone gets well soon. It must have been a scary time. As a rule fishermen seem to be some of the nicest people around, so don't feel intimidated about all the different equipment, go into a Bait shop and just start asking questions, I'm sure they'd be more than happy to help you get the right things.

Seeing her Mum like that must have been a truly frightening experience, well done to both of you for handling it so well. It's good Funk's Sister has been able to stay with you, to take some of the pressure off. The relief & joy that Funk's Mum is OK shines out of you in this video. The Weather looked perfect for you. Great to see you having so much success with your fishing. The Owl Chorus was amazing - the dancing was pure unadulterated Posa 😄😄😄. We had some one do the same thing and put Pike in one of our favorite lake trout lakes, so uncool! Messed with all of the ecosystem of the lake. Has never been the same. Glad that you and Monty got a night out, and so happy that Funks mom is on the mend!

Glad Funk's mom is recovering and is on the road to wellness. I had a similar situation with my grandmother when she had her knees replaced. She had them both done at the same time, and they over-medicated her. It was one of the scariest experiences of my life! Loved seeing you & Lord Montague just hanging out doing your thing! It never gets old! Turtle eats the fish... Time to make the turtle into dinner! Bad Turtle! That really blows, Posa! He's not even trying to hide! That's one ballsy turtle for sure! I imagined my dad in that situation, and I know he would have had some choice expletives for that turtle for sure! Glad you could salvage at least some of it for you & Monty! (You're such a kind soul... You gave the leftovers to that stinking turtle anyway! Idk if I would have been able to be that nice... I might have even saved it for the morning and let the birds take it. Your good humor knows no bounds! I don't think I would leave my fish on a stringer in the water anymore though lol! I adore you! 💙)
