Watched all your shows m8 and i think you are absolutely brilliant.. Its easier to use bait floss to extend hair rig for bigger baits( snowman ) , you can make the hair as long as you want then.... When you are talking to the camera (or eating ) I always look behind you and fish are topping everywhere LOL it always happens to me as well ....haha..the amount of times i had to reheat my dinner because of fish on ...its like they know im cooking/eating lol

Use bait floss or just a bit of line to extend your hair Graham. Thread a doubled up length through the hair loop and cinch down like you would a hook to nylon. Thread on your baits and set the hair as you want. Tie a granny knot in the free end (coming out of the top of your snowman). Pull the knot down but slip a hair stop under it before it disappears into the snowman. Then tie a couple more granny's and trim - job done. Big fish lads would blob the floss with a lighter but I wouldn't bother on a water with a decent head of fish as it wont put them off. Extender stops are ok but they have some size to them that can split a pop-up once it starts to take on a bit of water, and it can be a bit of a job to snug it into the bait in the first place.

There aren't any Tors in Dorset, a Tor is an exposed rock mass of jointed and broken stones found at the summit of an isolated hill, ridge or outcrop (height of the hill has nothing to do with it). They're made of the same stuff as the surrounding bedrock and are thought to be formed by freeze/thaw weathering (ie. water getting into the cracks, freezing in winter and then hydraulically splitting the rock as it expands). You'll find Tors all over Cornwall, Dartmoor, the Peak District, the Pennines and the Cairngorms but there are a few isolated ones in Shropshire and one by Glastonbury.

big tip when ur surface fishing the dusk/night.. just feed in the marins.. i mean not more then a inch from the bank between the plants.. and put bait down ideally alll round the lake (just have a walk all around and put donw beait every 6 feet orso.. caught some 50+ pounders like that.. right under the rod tip.. u see them feeding and just sneak ur way over and put down ur hookbait.. sometimes u can fool em like that.

I love fishing crust on top too. In fact only been course fishing for a few months. Was always a trout fly man which is probably why I prefer fishing the top. Anyway the one thing I have problems is ducks. There’s a team of eight at my local pond, when ever I pop down to try a couple chucks they see me coming and I know they know me 😂 so immediately start getting their party on!!! Any tips to to try avoid them, was planning to Chuck a loaf on the bank to keep them happy and distracted but doubt it would last long.
