コロナ前に新潟-小樽往復利用しました。 9月後半の小樽出港時なら、ちょうど街の向こうに沈む夕日が綺麗です。 レストランの形態がコロナで少し変わった様子ですが、何食べても美味しかったです。 ツーリストSは個室とはいえパーテーションで仕切っただけなので、隣室の音は良く響きますね。 4階と５階（だったかな？）に客室があるけど、上層階のほうがエンジン騒音が静かと感じました。 出港後の大浴場は混雑しますが、少し時間をずらすとガラガラとなり快適に入れます。 当然ですが週末休日を避ければ、混雑せず快適に過ごせる印象でした。 出港・着港ともに時間帯が良いフェリーですよね。

ツーリストSは｢相部屋個室｣といった感じですね。ドアの下がだいぶ空いてますね。 私は冬しか利用歴ありませんが、その上のステートAツインは、一人の料金で貸し切りでき（冬だから？）、ツーリストより値段上がりますが、満足度がめっちゃ上がりますのでおすすめです。

新潟、小樽どちらからの便も天気良ければ日本海に沈む夕日を見れるのでオススメです。この航路に使用する船は大型で揺れも少ないので特に今の季節は最高だと思います。但し、小樽着の便は到着時間が朝早くなのでこれは商業輸送メインなので仕方ないですね。

Nice! As someone who has only ever been on European ferry boats, the rooms look to be tiny! I’m in a family of 4, and we share a room with 2 sofa beds and 2 beds that fold from the wall. It’s also surprising seeing how little decorations there are in your room. Safe travels!

How do the ferries move sideways from the dock when leaving. I didn't know they could, do that. I know they that can go forward and backward, but sideways?
