The seagulls follow the ships because the propellers stir up the water and bring bits of food and small fish to the surface. They're very clever. They're also often the first sign you'll get that land is close when you're coming in from the ocean.

Absolutely loved the entrance. The umbrellas with rain lights. Who ever designed that, did a fantastic job.

Thank you, Itsuka! I've been addicted to these ferry trip videos. What I like about yours is that you seem to do a little bit more on board than just eat and sleep 😉 The game room looked fun and I love the ferry stamps you buy. Safe travels in the future, and good wishes from Vermont, USA 😀

gracias por el video. el ferry parece genial: cine, juegos, un NSX blanco tiendas en el ferry... salir a dar un paseo por la cubierta del barco a la noche, y ver las estrellas, debe ser genial. sigue asi thanks for the video. the ferry looks great: movies, games, a white NSX shops on the ferry... Going out for a walk on the deck of the ship at night, and seeing the stars, must be great. keep it up

Wow .. we get to go on another fascinating ferry ride with you. What a captivating entrance foyer they present you with those decorations. A real sense of calmness on board. The meals looked so appealing even tho not banquet style ... the desert would have been a double up for me .. haha. Glad to see you are a winner on those games cos they are addictive. Thanks for another wonderful voyage. Bushyboy Oz.

I love these ferry videos. I wish I could go on the ferries. I would love to shop at that store. I would want my own private washroom. I love the entrance, it is beautiful.
Until I am able to actually visit Japan again I live through these videos

Frozen yogurt is somewhat nostalgic for me. I used to work in a factory making soft serve frozen yogurt powder. It was an interesting time. That ship looks very nice, by the way. I wish I could ride it.

LOVE the ceiling light design. Good that you got a window bed :) Ginger is good for sea sickness. I believe is the food waste being pumped into the sea is why the seagulls are interested. Yes take the 3 day journey :D Beef stew, YUM! Milk mousse... maybe not so yum lol The lift voice like a dalek from Dr Who lol Game centre looked cool, my fav one is the coin pusher but this one does not use coins but glass shapes. Thank you for sharing your journey :)
Ginger tea, is very good for 'sea sickness'. 👍Many ferries and other similar transportation, can have 'air conditioning' in most areas. NOT just the cabin/bunk area! hence it can be hot outside ie SUMMER and very COOL inside.👀

The entrance of the ferry is so pretty and cute! Its great that it gave that nice feeling when you first walked in. And the room looks cozy, even if theres no lock. I have to say that you’re lucky to get the window room. And those food looks sooooo good! Its making me drool 😂😂 Glad that your journey was safe and sound, despite that slight earthquake before you depart. Its quite unfortunate that some of the cafes were closed, would have love to see what they have to offer. And i love how you explore each of the rooms, giving us the glimpse of what’s inside the ferry.
Love an empty boat, amusement park, pool, casino...yessss

2:17 I'm a budget backpacker. 私は低予算のバックパッカーです I love your capsule by the window! 窓際のあなたのカプセルが大好きです!3:00 You brought your bear doll that you bought on the ferry to Hokkaido. フェリーで買ったくま人形を北海道に持っていきました。7:40 ビーフシチューが生きてる! Your beef stew is still alive!
Great trip. Next you should try the full trip in this route, because I think there is difference between Ferry who passing Pacific Ocean and Sea of Japan.
The powerful propellers create vortices that stun small fish. Those seagulls are smart enough to take the opportunity to hunt fish.

I’m glad the voyage wasn’t rough. But if it was, I wonder if the umbrellas in the lobby would be swinging back and forth? A room with a view! Can’t beat that. Maybe the wake of the ferry stirs up something the seagulls can eat? Dining room looked empty. Dinner looked delicious. Cracked me up to see the meal dancing on the plate.🤣 Always room for dessert. Do the truck drivers have a separate dining room? The creepy voice in the elevator was fun. Alcohol out of a vending machine…just wow! Game room was super fun. Crane game was different. You won some nice things. The arcade game reminded me of Tetris. Nice haul from the store. Im intrigued by the ume juice, sweet and sour. I love umeboshi, but can’t imagine them in a juice being sweet. Sour yes, sweet, no way. Ouch..getting up at 4 AM….At least the room was quiet. Another fun and entertaining travel vlog. Thank you for sharing 👍😊

Thank you for sharing another wonderful journey with us. In your experience, have the ferries you have caught always been so empty, or has this occurred since the start of the pandemic when tourists were no longer allowed into Japan? In other words, did your ferry rides have more passengers prior to the pandemic? I am looking forward to my second trip to Japan early 2023 when I hope your borders are open again to Australian travellers.
