This one comes as a surprise! Topography VERY similar to Northern California, VERY similar! The hut mega cool, especially with weather as it was. The Brown Trout was real dark brown compared to what I catch in the Rockies, ours are real pale by comparison for the most part. Thumbs up again, HELL YEAH!!!

mate that was a great video,,, really good, i spent 9 months in Tasmania about 10 years ago, i lived anywhere i could when i could in my car, i loved it,,
@nickbunt55426 жыл бұрын
Wow, how cool! This encapulates the whole experience so well. I did a fair bit of solo stuff myself when I was younger. Always with a board and a rod. The east coast is fairly easy- a lot of water around and a relatively mild climate. Tassie is stepping it up bro! I did do a few on South Aus coasts too. I walked from Steaky bay to Elliston, did the entire Yorkes Penninsular from Corney point to Port Clinton and the South coast of Kangaroo Island. Carrying enough water for 10 days is challenging and a bit dangerous too in hindsight. I remember wicked dreams of thirst- like my old high school principal pouring a garbage bin of water on me and I'm trying to drink it up- only to wake in the tent with a dry mouth and having to save my last litre because I still had two days to go. Plus there were no mobiles and nobody knew where I was. Makes you tread carefully, believe me. Anyway keep up the good work. I have three lovely young daughters now, so the brakes are on for the time being but I'll be back out there when the time is right I'm sure. In the mean time I've got your wicked vids to keep a smile on my face and remind me how beautiful isolation can be. Cheers maaate!
