Overnight Train from Ukraine to Poland

I just made this trip but in the opposite direction, spent 3 hours at Chelm waiting for the train to Kyiv, it was very dark and smoky there, it seemed as if it was still Soviet times. My ride from Poland to Ukraine was entirely in the dark so I did not get to see any of the sights out the window. Enjoyed watching your video, thank you.

Yes during the night nothing so exacting I hope you will enjoy coming back 😊 We going to Ukraine soon By the same route also at night What time did you take train from Chelm? We have flight from London to Lublin and arrive around 4 -5 pm

Thank you I not sure as we got tickets Kyiv - Helm at Ukraine Railway app play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=ua.gov.uz&pcampaignid=web_share And then bought tickets Helm -Warsaw on the train. But it is better to buy this ticket on Polish websites as you can reserve your seat Train arrives to train station and you need to take a bus or taxi to get to the airport It is a bit complicated, we book hotel not far from airport You can take a flight from Lublin that is not far from Helm. This time we got flight to Luton from there kzbin.info/www/bejne/fH_Vlp2teJiUeKcsi=8rEiLY5b2yDO-421 In comment to this video one guy told how he travel throughout Krakow

How bad was the border control into Poland? I want to take this train in a couple months and I am a little nervous about the control at the border😰

I don’t think there will be a problem with border police We took night bus last time to Kyiv and Polish police just came inside to check and stamp passports On Ukrainian border they asked to get out off buss for stamp passports but it was very quickly If you go by train there no problem at all as border police checks people in the train On the way back to Poland there was detail check up just for Ukrainian men if they are allowed to go abroad I would recommend to buy train tickets 20 days in advance as soon as they come out We also going to Ukraine in couple months Are you going to Lviv?

Thanks for your reply🤩 I am not yet settled on where I will go, it depends on the situation at the time, but Lviv seems like a safe place to visit, so I might go there😄
