2 torx screws on the rear of the glass (fully open the roof) and 2 on the sides which you’ll have to access from inside may need to remove plastic trims. Roof has to be closed to access them

What I'd add it make some markings along edge of frame before you remove it to help position the new glass frame.. normally saves time in adjustments on these opening pan roofs

Replace the sunroof panel by removing a couple of screws each side from the inside, make sure you lube up the new panel and leave it closed for a few days so it moulds to the car surround.

This guy explains how to remove it kzbin.info/www/bejne/Y6LYXp-liJiEbKM The only thing I could think of is paying attention to the tint in the glass when you buy a new one. If I am correct it should have the same tint as the two rear door windows and the rear window. Nice GTI! Have fun with it! On the track you are going to be happy with that LSD as it should give it less understeer.
