Overpass with Parallax Mapping, RPG Maker MZ / MV Tutorial

For this video, there isn't really any eventing needed. You do need map comments but that's it. If people are interested I could make a video about how to do a bridge ( that can be walked under and on) or something using this method. It works very well.

So i have a quest that I cannot seem to find an answer for. I am using MZ and when I edit my map using Krita, everything turns out alright except for my highlights. When I do my highlights I use the blending modes in Krita such as multiply, lighten etc. However, when I bring this to RPG Maker MZ, it does not have those blending modes so it sets it as normal. Is there anyway to fix this?

Gonna try my best to answer. It sounds like you are using blending options in Krita. Depending on your parallax mapping app... You can use blending options in the images you are using for parallaxing. Just make sure the images from your Krita doc are broken into separate layers... Only apply blending options in RPG Maker, not in Krita. You can use Krita to test the way it looks but remove blending before running in rpg maker. I hope that helps. @@mauigamestudio I finally got it on Github but it only works for MV, I have MZ. The Cyclone plugin supposedly replaces Orange Mapshot but I can't get it to work.
