The combat is waaay better than The Witcher 3. Literally you can have fun in this on hard mode combining magic to make it fun. Smashing enemies and them exploding is much better than slicing them in TW3. Story may be awful and has some issues but if you're looking for fun combat... You got the answer.

The introduction of “Ancient Magic” makes me imagine that at least a number of old gods(Greek gods,Norse gods, Celtic gods) are in fact ancient wizards and witches who had mastery over ancient magic,and the myths are distant memories or distorted accounts of their deeds.

They really need to add a consequence for using unforgivable spells and killing in public. Your wanted meter should go up and you should have aurora after you. Would make the game more fun and keep you entertained

And when you get busted, you go to Azkaban and have to break out using a Patronus and make that breakout one of the hardest things ever so it makes it seem like the Unforgivable curses have to be used carefully.

Yes. More penalties: limits to the use of certain items (such as Sword of Gryffindor etc.); limits to interaction with certain characters, etc; limits to certain adventures. You should be placed alongside the enemies you are killing.

I really wish the decisions we made would impact our character's future and that there were several different endings. And that instead of fifth year we were the final year and got to choose a profession/role based on how well we did in classes at the end of the game. This way the whole O.W.L.S thing is pointless, because we are preparing for it but never complete it in the end, and it doesn't change the storyline at all.

@L_O_W_K_E_Y-G that’s not what they mean. They’re referring to interrupting spells “i.e. use depulso to interrupt an ashwinders confringo”. Using certain spells just before they attack has added damage. Nothing to do with breaking the shields

Well I looked it up and it's the relic house uniform, you earn it with the daedalian key quest. “A House robe, earned by using the Daedalian keys to unlock your house chest.”

It’s a raven house cloak you get from the house chest I use it it’s pretty cool glows when you use magic I looked up a yt vid locations of the house keys took me like 20 mins

Voldemort was an "artificial" psychopath, born from effects of love potion. Legacy MC is just all natural 100% authentic psychopath whose existence was entirely wiped away in history book. Voldemort = he who must not be named Legacy MC = he who must not be remembered

Maybe the talent that make you invulnerable with edurus, but not sure.

@@starlucanyaart yes, there is a talent in room of requirement section which allows Edurus potion to give additional effect of deflecting incoming projectiles. You need to activate the talent or it’ll just be ordinary Edurus effect (stoneskin)
