Sauropds in general were done dirty by JWE2. They could have made them use their tails for defense, get on their hind legs, stomp, thrash with their necks, literally so many things. But not, they're just walking buffets that can shake off some attackers

That’s very true, you can even see it if you compare it with a T. rex, apatosaurus in the game is similar size, but it moves like it’s Godzilla size, while T. rex can even jump and runs like a damn raptor

Don't forget most media... A personal frustration point for me is the Apatosaurus from Beasts of Bermuda being a walking steak if you don't camp one spot for your entire life.

Exactly…. Hell watch jwfk the apatosaurus are running at a pretty good pace in the film compared to the larger brachiosaurus so idk why frontier didn’t use the ACTUAL film dinosaur as reference for its mobility… and model in general

Oh yeah and Diplodicus could literally disintegrate flesh and bone because it's tail whips moved so fast But in JWE2 they are literally just canon fodder

Would be nice if the sauropods threw their weight around a bit more. Stuff like elephants can be surprisingly fast, reaching speeds of 25 km/h if I recall correctly. Here the sauropods are unbearably slow and honestly it just looks like the raptors are dying by themselves. Its even more glariing in stuff like Amarga and Nigersaurus, those things aren't even that big they should be able to do something more than a slowed down stomp. Would be amazing if Amarga had an animation where it throws a raptor down and then turns around quickly and hits it upwards with the neck, hitting it with the spikes

I totally agree. These people from JW and JP think that the only defense of sauropods is to be great, other than that, if something dares attack them, they stand there waiting for death. which didn't make much sense. Sauropods are big, so they all have very strong muscles, having SEVERAL ways to defend themselves. Could it be that they didn't see those big tails and thought it might work as a defense? They paid very little attention to the sauropods, a great disrespect to this magnificent group of dinosaurs. They think they are big dumb animals that only serve as food for carnivores.

@@joaovictorbarbosa2124 Yeah. Also they underestimate speed, they're so painfully slow. I don't remember where but I read Giraffatitan, an african relative of Brachiosaurus, might have reached 25 km/h at full speed, which is absolutely terrifying to think about.

It's really sad for me to see that they did sauropods (my favorite group of dinosaurs) this dirty. They're super slow, they can't fight back and are just giant meat bags for the carnivores. Fighting a giant sauropod should be a HUGE risk for the carnivores, with high chance of injury or death. One tail smack or one kick would be enough to seriously injure or kill a theropod. They really need to buff/change how sauropods (and alot of other herbivores) work. So they are not just easy meals for the carnivores.

Raptors wouldn’t even think about taking on a sauropod. Hell, even a T Rex rarely tried to mess with an ankylosaurus (not a sauropod, I know). I get animals can hunt in packs to take down animals much larger than them, but this is ridiculous. They don’t even bother to fight back.

Okay here me out everyone they need to release an update where they change the sauropod’s AI. Such as making them immune to small carnivores such as Velociraptor, Dilophosaurus, etc and Medium Carnivores like Carnotaurus, Majungasaurus, Cryolophosaurus, etc. Also these are the carnivores that should hunt large sauropods, Giganotosaurus(Which makes sense because that dinosaur is built for hunting large animals) Indominus Rex Scorpios Rex(Because it’s a hybrid like Indominus that kills anything without second thought) Allosaurus(Because it was said to have hunted Brachiosaurus in its time) Acrocanthosaurus(Because that one too is as big as T-Rex & Giga and was built for sauropod hunting, it hunted sauroposeidon) Carcharodontosaurus(Though it was thought to have hunted sauropods like Paralititan & Aegyptosaurus while they were young) I wouldn’t count Spinosaurus as a sauropod hunter because its snout doesn’t look strong enough to land a lethal bite on one plus it was mainly designed for fishing.

The very long necked sauropods should actually fling away raptors that manage to climb to the top of the sauropod's head! Like when a large carnivore flings the raptors of thier sides, the sauropods should do the same too, except the raptors go flying much farther than when a rex would throw a raptor for example...

Sadly I recently lost all of my progress in this game. On my screen it said " All your data has been Corrupted " with a cancel button and an ok button i pressed cancel thinking it would cancel that. Man, now I have to do the campaign again and that took so long for me to do ): eh oh well. I will keep trying at least and thats what counts 😊 If I'm being honest this comment didn't mean anything I just wanted to say that 🙃 But the video was incredible watching the raptors jumping on the Sauropod was satisfying. keep up the good work 😊

It’s disgraceful how bad the herbivores got done dirty in this game. Hadrosaurs, ornithomimids and surapods get absolutely clapped and it’s not fair. The fact that brachiosaurus can get killed by carnotaurus is asinine to me. Carnivores should barely be able to attack these giants as is let alone by themselves. Hadrosaurus like edmontosaurus get hunted by dinosaurs that are significantly bellow their pay grade like metriacanthosaurus, allosaurus and queztacoatlus. It sucks too because Hadrosaurus aren’t pushovers, they will clap a carnivore no questions asked And ornithomimids get little defence which is sad to me as gallimimus shouldn’t be getting hunted by dinosaurs like proceratosaurus and ceradactlyus. Gallimimus can give a pretty solid kick to any would be predator. Not to mention that gallimimus is painfully slow. I demand justice for the herbivores damn it.

I don’t understand JWE in general, for some reason they make the big carnivores so fast, like T. rex can run faster than the indo in JWE2 even with how much weight it has, but then you make sauropods extremely slow, it’s like two different universe where sauropods are in slow motion while the apex carnivores that are in similar size to some sauropods in the game like apato and Rex are very fast, like too much, some animations have them even jumping to catch they’re prey.

Ikr its stupid af how a trex can outrun hadrosaurs and kill them, the Trex would have trouble catching up and if the hadrosaur was a para, corytho, edmonto or any other big hadrosaur they would be able to injure the trex and any other predator with strong kicks
