Overpriced bottles and the secondary market!!

Good content fellas! I'm right the with Agave love and Lore on Fortaleza. I'd take a bottle of Tapatio or 2023 Patrero Grande estate Tequila Ocho over a Fortaleza any day! I'm also a tan of Old Forester. Keep 'em coming guys! 👍🏼

Now that i have 20+ bottles of what i like, i generally have passed on things like a Fort Winterblend because sellers want $350 and up for a bottle that retails for a third of that. No thanks.

RJ, I gotta say, I do have a problem with folks like you who purchase 14 bottles of an allocated item. Anyone who hoards like that is contributing to the same madness that you all are speaking out against.

That is the biggest event of the year where over 1500 people were able to purchase 30 allocated bottles in a single trip! I've opened most of them already too. Call it what you want but people spend 4 nights and 5 days for that even because they know they can get allocated bottles all in one place for MSRP. Glad to hear that I am the problem though, NOT the store hoarding 30,000 bottles for a single drop they do once a year! Cheers! 🤠

@RJtheFED It's a whole machine. I'm sure you're not happy about the current market either. What matters more than the excess amount is what you do with the bottles AFTER you get them, like flip them for 4-5x what you paid. I do blame the store. To be honest, I am more of a Tequila Afficianado than a Bourbon Afficianado and the type of event you mentioned is completely unheard of to me, so thank you for clarifying.
