Fast forward two years later I met my now husband at 32 years old and got married at 34 years old and had my first child at 35 years old. Kim I know that “running out of time” feeling very well but trust me, you’re not. In my 20/30’s I had my share of dead end relationships or men that I thought would be my forever. Anyways fast forward I met my now husband 4 years ago. We got married last year 2023 I was 41 and he is 48 and after having 4 miscarriages our last one being April of this year, I’m so elated to say now in October I’m into my 2nd trimester. Now I’m 42 and my hubby is 49 and we will welcome our 1st baby girl in February 2025 God willing. Stay encouraged and keep being a wonderful respectful young lady. 😘

Hey Kim. My daughter had her baby at 37. She too was disheartened about her life . To be honest I was concerned too about not getting a grandchild from her but I never projected my feelings onto. her. Fast forward…shortly afterwards she met my lovely son in law and now I have my gorgeous grandson who just turned 7 years old. She gave birth totally naturally without any painkillers etc. We all go through life worries but remember life is not a straight road. It has lots of bumps but don’t worry, you soon don’t have time fe we cause you too busy with yu family 👍🏾. You are young. Keep going. Things do not remain the same. ❤

Kim you did the best thing and moved away from negativity, animosity of an ex and a country who pretty much either works two three jobs, or keep themselves to themselves. New Jersey is a nice place and you will meet people and the chance to experience the weather spring, autumn, summer, winter. Continue to have faith as j had my one and only child at the age of thirty four. Women are having babies in their 50s There is no right time to have children, just go with the flow. Yes you may regret wasting a good few years with a toxic person. But you are now free from him. Stay close to your family, continue to visit your brother and try go and see your mom life is short. I had one child she was 19 years old not sick and passed away in my arms. At least you continue to visit your nephew and perhaps go look for your mom.

Please do not stress yourself out. Go to church, learn new hobbies, read, but enjoy your own company. It was hard for me at first, I had my first child at 29 yrs just after leaving UWI, then bought a house with the help of my mom then went in and out of relationships but I still had faith and attended church every Sunday. But please don't go hard on yourself, learn new hobbies, read, go to church and always pray. Blessings to you .

I admire your strength and resilence as a young woman and you had quite a journey. However saying you wasted your best years is not a fair statement. If your previous relationship did not take course and you stayed back in the C'bean, you may not enjoy tht lifestyle you hv now. That journey you previously experienced, was just a transportation to where you are now, always be thankful for all the experiences good & bad.
