The ladies of “The Real” chat about not wanting to overshare with the public, but also wanting the tea after other couples break up. They also discuss the unconventional parenting methods in their families - but as Adrienne says, “Jeannie Mai is not a doctor,” so don’t try these techniques at home!
When it comes to social media, are you more likely to keep your personal life to yourself, or share with everyone?

Jasmine Monet I agree but if it was put out there people shouldn't be held to continuing with explanations and updates IF THEY DONT WANT TO. There's no established law to continue with updates because you posted that you were at SeaWorld, red lobster wherever and then boom ..no relationship more relationship posts.

That was kinda rude at the end when they kept cutting Jeannie off. It’s her tradition. No one cut Tamera off when she was talking about things her mom did. Or Adrienne and her Vick’s. Just because you don’t agree with something, doesn’t mean you have to be rude and cut them off.
@kazimo7801
@kazimo7801 5 жыл бұрын
They cut her off, because they don't want people actually trying that method at home. What if an audience member or someone watching the show tries it on their kid, then something bad happens to that kid. Who do you think is going to be blamed? They're trying to protect Jeannie from getting in trouble, that's why they had to cut her off and say it's just her method and to not try it at home. Plus Jeannie didn't want to stop, yes it may actually work, but you don't know if it's going to work for everyone and as a non-doctor, she could get into a lawsuit if someone does do it and say she told them to.
@mkmgramirez
@mkmgramirez 5 жыл бұрын
I thought it was rude as well but I also understand why they did it. If she had kept it general and not gone into a lot of detail, I think it would have been OK. But the detail puts her up for lawsuits (in the minds of people who are trying to get a quick buck). She should just mention the remedy and not gone into detail on how it is applied. If people want to know, they can always go look it up or reach out to an Asian remedy professional.
@Luna-ch9us
@Luna-ch9us 5 жыл бұрын
Well if the argument is that people may do it at home and sue her, then we should talk about why people would do that. Everything that’s on tv isn’t for me. I’m not going to follow the first thing i hear from tv personalities. So people shouldn’t have to mute theirselves or their believes because people can’t might do something in the world. It’s not a liability. If you don’t understand something and you don’t believe in it, then don’t do it. It’s pretty simple. I can’t sue Tide for their commercial because I used it and my skin broke out. So you shouldn’t be able to sue a tv personality for their beliefs

@@Mamamia90210 it wont be breaking the skin like if you use a coin but children's skin is not as thick, so the logic is even with using the onion (use the pointy end) it will have the same effect. and please don't use the same force like when you do it on adults. you'll know you are done when it leaves pinkish mark on their skins.

I agree with Devon. It's nobody's business. People seem to forget that youtubers and celebrities are real people. You are not their friends, you are their fans. There is a difference. If you are a friend, it's ok to ask what happened. If you don't know that person personally, it's none of your business. It's their choice whether or not they want to tell their story. Stop feeling so damn entitled, respect their privacy, and just wish them well.

OPINIONS ON EACH TOPIC --------------------------------------------- Oversharing On Social Media : first of all I wanna appreciate Jeannie's relates and rawness regarding this topic because if you think about it... regarding her previous relationship , she was always honest ( I will admit sometimes too honest ) and I love that because one she knew the responsibility of keeping it real especially on this show also comes with sometimes talking about your personal life and when it comes to relationships/ marriage , she would give the answer / point of view that wasn't so sugarcoated or trying to make it look nice and pain a pretty picture... what you see is what you get and even with h divorce , she kept it classy but still even then she was still willing to give Freddie the upmost respect and love through that time so I appreciate her for being REAL all the way around ! Old School Parenting : In this day and age I feel like when it comes to come up with remedies u should find many other options to care for YOUR child in the best way possible ! You want to take precautions and sometimes even google or even try to talk to a doctor before doing certain things that involve your child's well being
