I'm wondering about your controls. While using the mouse look option, are you just rolling using ailerons or are you also pulling up simultaneously?

the mkXVI is so fun, but when half of enemies chasing you and no teammate come, you're dead. I hope they give it a little more engine power, doing continually rolling defensive often waste all energy, and most of my deaths is from 1 vs 3,4 situation and they got me on the desk, just like you in this vid :) If flying this plane with a good teammate, he will get great amount of kills

Some of these maneuver are not even possible with default controls on console. But still pretty cool to see how crazy PC can give you advantage

Is roll the only attribute that really matters for defensive flying? My only second guess would be low speed acceleration to keep with the target that overshot

Which camera do you use while doing these? I struggle maneuvering while using enemy tracking camera+the reversal from it into “normal one” is terribad.

I love doing this in my P38L. I've surprised a few J2M and Ki with it, but it's a tough move to pull off with FW 190s. Any tips for when your opponent can out roll you?

speed, if the enemy locks up at a higher speed get them to dive with you. than do this, as they try to roll, their control surfaces will be locked up

I flew against couple of bf 109 k'4s. even though they have been buffed, they don't feel different to fight against. Most of the time i drag them away from their air base, If they are on my 6 o clock i do the same maneuver as I do in this video, but at higher speeds, they have a very hard time trying to out turn you. Remember all BF 109s can out turn p51D's and P47s at lower speeds.

by the time a bf 109 K or a G is on me, i dive out from a distance of 1.5 km, if you do get in a tight spot remember, american planes we have g suits, go into a high speed scissor fight, they will black out earlier than you

The trick with the p38 in defensive flying is, that it can open its combat flaps at very high speeds, 550+ kmph, if you do the above maneuver while using combat flaps + SPEED, throttle control you can roll pretty decently. But it is harder as the roll rate ain't that good. Will do, we are having internet infrastructure updates here so my uploads will be slow
