Unlike the old randomizer demo, Spec II is actually possible to 100% with the randomizer now, since all of the prizes are possible to buy now if you win the event they're normally a prize from. Even the Formula GT is buyable now.

Hello ! Great channel , I just installed the patch and am currently running it perfectly on my Retriod Pocket 4 Pro, had to change the graphics to OpenGL but looks and works great so far. Working my way through the Licences atm.

To make things even better there are HD HUD and texture packs available on GTPlanet, and apps like Lossless Scaling work perfectly with very little ghosting so I'm playing a near 20 year old game on a 1200p 144hz handheld during my commute.. the modding community is so talented!

The mod is honestly great. I was in the minority that didn't like Gran Turismo 4 much. What really put me off was how often the prize cars were concept cars that couldn't enter events and are just useless or gimmicky. I don't think you could sell them either. I might be wrong though. And honestly this mod has fixed almost every small issue with the game. I do see myself replaying GT4 now.

@@Zanarkand_0 yeah, the unsellable cars slowed the game progression I used to find myself grinding one event for money, now I can play very comfortably, the progression is much smoother

I fell off of GT4 for a while for numerous reasons (2 and 3 were the ones I revisited the most) but the randomizer and Spec II have really breathed new life into it for me.

@@leftundersun I had the opposite problem, money was easy to get and you can just upgrade cars and demolish the competition. You can win Rally cars in the special conditions races and sell them for over 200k credits You were either underpowered and had no chance of winning, or overpowered and left everyone behind, that's what made it a bit "meh", but I still loved the game Used to play vanilla on PS2 but earlier I installed Spec II on PS2, didn't even expect it to work, but it did

You can have gt5 and 6 as, well just gt6 only up to 1.05 is stable in emulator and you need good cpu at least i7 7700k for gt5 and i5 12400 for gt6 is minimum

Dude, forget PC, i have it ON MY PHONE, a Xiaomi Redmi 12 Pro emulates GT4 just about fine requiring the performance cheats that take away light glares from lamps, cars and the sun to run just about perfect. Go check out some emulation tutorials, if you have your copy of the game and a CD/DVD reader on your pc you don't even need to download the ISO!

​@@Heaven_Is_A_Wasteland i have a overclocked i5 7600k and i have zero issues on GT5 aside from slightly longer loading screens, i'm at 4.8Ghz. I ran it at 5 for a little bit BUT it was juuust a tad unstable and decided it was for the better to stay at 4.8

I really love this mod!!! I've played quite a few hours of GT4 for the first time in 20 years! You can turn off the randomizer if you need a specific car to enter a series, so it is probably possible to 100% it.

I'm playing the mod on PS3. Notwithstanding some FPS drops on night tracks and circuits with bright skyboxes, I'd say it's a solid 8/10 experience 😁 Hopefully I'll find a way to apply some patches so it can run flawlessly.

Love it to see more GT4 Spec II videos. I played GT4 Spec II on my Zorin OS Linux and it's so awesome. I got footage of new cars Hyundai TIburon, Mini Cooper, Mazda MX-5 etc on my Linux vlog as well. Unfortunately the license task were so difficult I wish there are community to share save games for GT4 Spec II already. 😍

Glad I wasn't the only one that found them difficult, the online beta apparently has its own physics, which is what made them so difficult. I gave up on all Gold licenses, however my randomizer save transferred over, so I already had gold on the B license

Yes, and quite well, considering it's almost a 20 years old game. Set both USB ports to the wheel cfg (it's a known bug) in pcsx2 and 900° on your Fanatec panel.
