Another excellent video. We have been to most of the places you are visiting. Even though we live in MI we sometimes forget the beauty it holds. Great job showcasing our state.

So glad yougotto enjoy Copper Harbor. We were there a couple of summers ago and loved it. We're debating on getting a seasonal site this year for 5.5 months or taking another trip to the UP.

Great video of the area. I went to school at Michigan Tech from Florida the winter of 1970 and was intoduced to the idea of real snow (380 inches). Beautiful area. When I was there, in September university has an event called K day when classes are called off and all the students went to Fort Wilkins for a day of outdoor fun. The views of you driving through Houghton and Hancock brought back many memories.

Thank you Stan and Rhonda for visiting and sharing my home with others. It means a lot to me. I love this area of our country and I recently bought some land in the Duluth, Minnesota area where I am building a tiny home. Northern Michigan is my home and it is/was a wonderful place to grow up in. As much as I love Michigan, I love Minnesota as well. If you do return to Michigan for a visit, I have many ideas for places you should visit. Additionally, I would welcome you to visit my property next summer/fall in Minnesota outside of Duluth. I can offer water and electric on my lot, but no sewage disposal. Would love to show you around the area and grill up a couple of nice local meals. ...Respectfully yours... Brian

Hello Brian, you are welcome! You are also very kind for your incredible offer. We need to return there because we know we missed a lot. We also haven’t been to Minnesota or Wisconsin. We can only pray we can make that happen someday Lord willing. The Upper Peninsula was truly magical for us. We are not done yet we still have so much more to share. Thank for joining us on our adventure. We hope we can bring back some wonderful memories. Blessings, Stan and Rhonda

Nice, just watch all your videos in a row. We went to the ocean for 3 weeks. It rained 10 days off and on. BIG Ocean. Just Love it.

Tim, I spent a lot of time surfing and love the Big Ocean. This is different. Big tides and big swells cause for lots of destruction makes things a little scary.

Hey Kevin and Larika, thank for joining us. Definitely put it on your bucket list. More than enough room for your big rig. Probably the biggest rig they will ever see but you will fit for sure. Timing is everything we think we went during the perfect time! Blessings, Stan and Rhonda❤️🙏🏼

Another great video - thanks for bringing us along! I really like how they had restored the fort - it looked great inside with all the implements etc... And your music choice for that fort scene was great - good job finding that :). Safe travels and hope to see you Saturday !

We live just off the 41 (Tamiami Trail) here in Port Charlotte, FL. We have driven it from Bradenton, FL to Miami, FL. Living here in Sarasota county and Charlotte county, it is the main road besides I-75.

Hello Jannette, thank you for joining us! Thank you for sharing. It is so interesting you can drive on the same highway all the way up to Copper Harbor Michigan. We would definitely recommend to take a drive up to Copper Harbor. So beautiful! Blessings, Stan and Rhonda❤️

That is really strange. Highway 41 in Michigan. Highway 41 is a few miles from me in north Idaho. I live in Post Falls. Never would have guessed. That town you drove through was very nice. Older buildings kept up in a nice downtown area. Take care.

Thanks for sharing your experience. That’s one more of our favorite places to scuba 🤿 dive. The park and fort are great. Sounds like you didn’t get up to Brockway Mountain 😢. So much to see and do up there it’s hard to see it all in just a few days. Looks like you’re going to have to come back. Thanks From Wisconsin
@OverTheHillAdventures11 ай бұрын
Funny, because while we were there we saw a couple of guys headed out to go scuba dive out of Astor Shipwreck Park. Is that where you dove? We wanted so badly to take our kayak out there, but just didn’t have enough time. We missed that highway altogether too 🥹 Yes, we will go back after we get to Wisconsin 😉👍👏 Have a great rest of the week! ~ Rhonda and Stan

We live near Rt. 41. I wonder if it’s the same 41? We are in northern Illinois and I know 41 goes into Wisconsin. The fort looked very interesting. We’ve never been to Copper Harbor, but I have wanted to go to Isle Royals for many years. Maybe someday!😊
@OverTheHillAdventures11 ай бұрын
Hi Claudia! Yes, it would be the same. (Just looked it up;) Says it’s called Skokie Blvd. or Skokie Highway? Sound familiar? The history of the fort was so interesting. Just imagining how difficult it must have been there especially during winter months made us appreciate our modern conveniences 👏🙌 Copper Harbor wouldn’t be too far for you! It was definitely worth the trip in the Fall 😍 We would love to go to Isle Royale too someday. Seems like the boat ride over is closer from the top of Minnesota though. We haven’t been there yet so maybe someday. We always love hearing from you. ~ Rhonda and Stan

The first time we stayed overnight at Copper Harbor we ate at the Harbor House . All of a sudden most of the staff ran outside . We rhought there was a fire or other emergency but were told that they were greeting the boat from Isle Royale. Did you get a chance to drive up rhe Brockway Mountain Drive ?
@OverTheHillAdventures11 ай бұрын
Hi Kurt, that is awesome! We experienced the same thing!! We did not go up Brockway Mountain Drive and decided to go to Eagle Harbor. It was not much of a town but the drive along the coast was incredible. It is so hard to believe there are towns in America that force you to step back in time and enjoy what God has created. We can definitely say we left part of our hearts in Copper Harbor. Blessings, Stan and Rhonda❤️
