The point is that you have to do your own research. Level 0 clearly said you have to use SSH to connect. It even gives you a SSH wikipedia link, did you click it? Simply typing on google "linux how to connect ssh" would've told you what to do

You need to log out and ssh in again. The username will just be bandit1 (Number changes according to level).

You CAN, but you'd be connecting to a server people use to practice hacking stuff on so you're exposing yourself. I'd recommend spinning up a Kali linux VM and doing it through there.

When I enter the first code for level 0 it says ssh: could not resolve hostname : Name or service not known. Why would it do that?

The password generated for me is different from the one you got. and I cant use it to access to level 1. it says "Permission denied, please try again." the password That I got from it is "NH2SXQwcBdpmTEzi3bvBHMM9H66vVXjL" I tried to type it in myself as well but it didn't work. could you pls help me? ty.

Thank you for the video. Quick question, hopefully you may know the answer. After i put in username and the link, why is the password not showing up on my terminal (macOS M2). It just shows up as a locked key symbol. Not sure how to get pass this. is this something to do with my settings?

Whats the password in readme for then? I got the impression that it was used for SSH to "bandit1" but there is no host by that name with or without the FQDN.

If you just type in “terminal” in the windows search bar it should come up. If not go to the Microsoft store and you should be able to download it there.
