Thanks, baby boy, I have used Overtone before many times, usually Rich Black or Espresso with pretty nice results. But I really wanted to see what the other colors for brown (and I'm assuming Black) hair looked like. Definitely needed to see it on locked hair. Thanks for an excellent, "real deal" and honest vid. I tried the Vibrant Red and got the same results you did. Clearly, they haven't yet figured out "Our Type of Hair" yet...hmmmm, is that opportunity I hear calling? Also, besides the extra time we need for the color to take, next time, try covering your hair with a plastic cap. The heat really does help to deposit the color more.

I noticed that your most recent video is gone I dont have Instagram so I cant dm you privately I just wanted to say that you were brave for even trying to get that conversation going bc its REALLY needed you base how well a group is doing based on their most marginalized members if our well being as a group doesnt include ALL of our members its not real progress. I applaud you for even trying to get that msg across its unfortunate that its considered an unpopular opinion but you arent alone in those sentiments a few cis gender black women had the same opinions on here as well myself included. We all have to matter meaning all members of the black community if we want REAL progress.

Yeah, tinted conditioner is basically diluted down semi permanent color... - you cannot lighten dark hair. Only bleach or baking soda will really knock up the color. Thank you man....good video though!☺

These only work on light colored hair because they are direct dyes, they can’t lift dark hair to light, only go from light to dark.

It didn’t work because your hair to dark obviously, it’s not like drug store box dye it doesn’t have any lighting effects . 😅😅
