Thank you for putting these videos out. The more content I find about this topic it just keeps me in check. I am pretty good about following my rules but wan to be better. Always working on my mind. Once we accept that we are overtrading then we can begin to work on it.

Risk management is the king if you can utilize that kind of leverage in ur favor with 100k account then u need nothing else. . As an average I execute 60 trades a day and I put 0.50% risk to get 0.50% return daily without having any issue of drawdowns and I think life is just awesome with ftmo ❤️

@@ronaldpena5593 It is not impossible. depends on the duration and whether or not its an algo. mine can do that easily. but that makes a problem. makes a bunch of profits to only give it back. so i had a limit parameter put in it. x percent gain and it stops for the day.

@@KingJT80 well I don't use any algo and the biggest mistake most of the trader make is not putting sl and when u get use to it u become profitable.. I use m1 for my entries and exit I scalpe mostly in NY and the only instrument I trade is DJ

@@real_forex885 ok that makes sense. I use the US100 NYC session pretty close to the same but a little different today I took the limit off of number of trades taken a session and risk .50% a trade. .

You need to diversify setups ,strategies and markets so you have more trades from your portfolio. Make sure you only trade the quality setups.

Very good and helpful video thx FTMO. I always writ down the trades i take, why i put the entry sl and tp where i put them. Also i write down how i feel right now, so i think again about it what was the dominant feeling i had. When i catch myself lose more than normal because i overtrade i get back to this Journal and break everything down as much as i can do findout which was the reason to do so.

It could be happy, grateful, feeling good about the way the set up looks, confident, driven, focused, angry, desperate, helpless. Really any feeling you can imagin, when i realise i feel negativ feelings i stay away from the char, it never endet in a good way, from my experiences. Hope thats reasinable :)

i think im the champion in not passing challenges, i have failed 7 times, i have a "CTBSSC" - Collective Trading System Set Collection that include everything - fomo, overtrading, closing trades early, closing trades too late, opening trades just to open trades and also feeling pressure without a reason while passing challenge. as soon as i fail challenge i pass it so it because i dont need to pass it anymore :D imagine my frustration :D

Thank you for the video. I believe first of all, the traders need to know if they are really in overtrading mode first. It's not that easy to recognize to be honest. Secondly, Once the traders realize that, they are just simply use your ways showing on the video to form a rewarding habit.

In the MAX LOSS, it stated that I shouldn't lose more than $1000 And in MAX DAILY LOSS, it stated that I shouldn't lose more than $500 My question is this, WHAT IF I LOSE $300 TODAY AND LOSE $300 NEXT DAY...AM I GOING TO BE DISQUALIFIED? Remember, my MAX DAILY LOSE IS $500 but I didn't lose the $600 the same day. I lost the $600 in different days but max daily loss is $500

As I could understand your Daily Loss restart each day. So, if you are -300 today, its still OK. Tomorrow your limit goes back to 500. But, now your Max Loss is 700 (-300 from previous day).

Yeah I had overtrading after a big loss few years back, what helped me is the video of Mark Douglass how to think like a professional trader. He said there reduce your lot size even if it’s ridiculously small. And it helped. But then I started to increasing a bit and again it went down the drain. But anyway I’m learning still. Thanks a lot FTMO. You doing a really great job.

Very informative. Just wondering whether I could lose my ftmo account after reaching the maximum loss but have grown my account considerably, say 50k account and i've made a profit of 20k.

Hi Patrick Kamau, Maximum Loss is calculated from the initial balance you received from us. If on 50K FTMO Account you would have $70,000, then your possible Maximum Loss is less than $25,000.
