I grew up with brothers who made fun of me for my period. Listen, by the 3rd year of my periods (14 y/o) I was done. One of my bros came at me with his "jokes" and infront of everyone I schooled him on biology. He's never ever attempted to say anything about it ever again. My thing is, why did my mom condone it. I still remember when i asked her to move in. I took her out for a whole day just to talk about it, write stuff that she finds okay or doesn't approve. I am more of a perfectionist which i knew would be a challenge to her. Especially on little things that usually make me irritated, like how the bed is made , dirty dishes lying in the sink , Serving me food with the old plates or cups ETC ... Great episode kama kawaida.... I feel like the expectations of sex and monogamy would have been a great lesson. There is a KZbin channel called The Ellises and a subsection called Couch Conversations where they talked about sex drive of niggas and how we as women want and sometimes even need our men to be monogamous and vice versa but then when it comes down to it (we can't keep up with their sexual needs) and so it becomes an issue because he can only have sex with you, you know... Until the point where the convo also goes on to say it's also physically taxing on women with the delicate nature of our vaginas, frequently contracting UTIs, yeast infections because you'll get treated but because he's asymptomatic he will not get tested and he will continue to re-infect you and sooooo much more but yeah sexual needs and wants when you are living with a man definitely change and issa whole new dynamic....

@@_Sharon_J like i said, we didnt talk about it,.....he just started coming and sleeping over and suddenly all his clothes were at mine. I was paying 98% of the expenses. He was still paying for his house 🤦‍♀️ Then I had to move to another town, (was moving back home) and now he expected me to leave things for him because he didnt have anything just his clothes. I feel like, i invested in myself and he was just there and expected to 'inherit' most things, then i start over coz im going to my parents house. Also, i got cheated on by the same person over the same period he was staying at mine. Imo, from my experience i wouldnt do it again, and wouldnt advice anyone to. Also, i think talking about it would have made things better.....maybe. there was many grey areas.

My two cents for most guys moving in together must have been discussed between the man and lady. I don't know about ladys but most men probably even women love their personal space I will not share it unless I feel ready *personally. As for periods unless a guy is grossed out by blood most of us understand basic female biology, periods are not really a big issue. As for dishes I am OCD stuff has to be inorder my mother is to blame for that ( this goes for home decor I do it in my own house ) but most men are not like me. As for stinking dumps or shit whether you believe it or not everybody's shit stinks I think most guys especially if you ever went to boarding school you have accepted this as a truth.

Research shows that in most cohabitation relationships, women tend to foot more of the bills and support the financial expenses of the household more than men in actual married relationships. Thus, cohabitative relationships tend to be the second poorest cohort financially in many societies...the worst off being female led single parent households. So yours was part of the statistic unfortunately. Look it up. Cohabitation is not equal to marriage

The thing for periods is true...had a gal roomie once and she would sometimes leave the bathroom bloody. I used to find it disturbing. Like leave the toilet clean.
