Menendez understood revenge and knew that David was the innocent victim of his plan. In the last mission, Menendez thought that his murder belonged to David Mason and if David killed him, he’d become a martyr. If David lets Menendez live, Menendez has to live with the pain he brought upon David.

Wait wait wait, okay so the ending is real in bo3? Corves did exist? I thought all of the campaign except the first mission is a simulation. And all that happens afterwards is a glitch from Taylor and players memories mixing because Player is actually just dying. Am I right or someone explain where I’m wrong

The thing about Bo3 is a lot of it is left up to interpretation. Some people think that the events are just all made up and it’s one big dream of the Player’s right before their death. Others think it’s a mostly literal story and while there are some simulation shenanigans at play the events actually happened. For the video I decided to use the most literal interpretation but that does not mean it is correct it’s just the one that I felt was the most neutral and probable.
