I really like this idea because I totally agree with the Cole is a hero premise. He can't die in battle, he always comes back. Hes fighting giant monsters and has lots of internal conflict. Which is why I also like the fourth dimensional interaction with various timelines; just wish Sucker Punch (or maybe another company) would continue a series with some originality.

I do have some questions about the game and it's story, like 1) Why didn't the Nomai try to explore further into Dark Bramble? or why didn't they try to locate their own distress beacons if everything is looped. 2) I do have some trouble in understanding The Interloper. If it's bound to be shielded by water or absolute isolation, how come no one ever was in such a state during the explosion? 3) Maybe even more alternating the story, however, if they would have decided to listen to the prisoner, or like the Nomai got into contact with them (or vice versa) how that could have changed the course of the timeline.

I had thought to do a video detailing the story in linear fashion but now there's no reason to. This video perfectly encapsulates everything and has extremely high production value to boot. I really enjoyed the watch.

Outer wilds is not a fraction as good as people say but yes spoilers will completely ruin it for you. The game is a mystery exploration space game. If you spoil anything you ruin the mystery and completely ruin the game

One of the things i don't understand about second game is why was mercer staying at a single isolated city instead of trying to infect as many countries as possible. It would be impossible to contain or nuke the virus if he was constantly traveling and spreading the virus. Also what's the point of giving powers to an enemy like heller? Trying to manipulate him will not work since he can always find the truth by consuming the allies of mercer. Dana was also working against alex and he was doing nothing about it.

Ive always thought about them making a game called "Tales from the Wilds" of other civilizations in other galaxies from long ago. Civilizations that couldnt yet travel the galaxy but were more ground in their lives. The characters experienced time normally and you could uncover the dark and ancient histories of your people and planet. Each day could be unique with interactions that are easily missable and each day is randomly unqiue because of these interactions based on how far in the story you are, what you have and havent done and you have and haven't talked to

Besides the whole plot, the engine where everything is physics was the huge part that everyone loves in Outer Wilds. So for me it can be something completely different, just with the similar space exploration vibes.

honestly i've been waiting for a video like this ever sense i had beaten the dlc. Another thing, if your memories are just pushed back 22 minutes on the stranger, what happens if you take out the advanced warp core then go in the stranger and wait?

My only gripe with the Karmic system disappearing is that this would almost work better as a comic book or even a show. If the karmic system was to return it could easily be Cole overthrowing Delsin to take over. He could even say “It doesn’t matter how much good I do. I died to save the world, but Someone else is just going to take over everytime.” Then he could at least justify himself switching mindsets.

I want to add that the Spot where Delsin's lair is the same spot where Cole actives the Ray sphere and causes the blast as well as the final fight between him and Kessler to where when destroyed the needle it leaves a Crater similar to when Cole got his powers making a full circle for the entire franchise. Edit Another change I may add is having similar mechanics from second son like surrendering enemies karmic attacks for vortex and lightning storm and a dash ability similar to neon dash where Cole becomes a lighting bolt
