Overview and Favorite Cabs on the Quad Cortex

First off, dude your tutorials have proven to be a great way to learn and dig ever deeper into the QC. One thing I'm still struggling with though is gain staging. I seem to be clipping while running dual amps and cabs with what I assume to be the ever so lightest of overdrive. Surely I'm doing something wrong here. If you could spare the time to do a video on this subject matter, that'd be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I can definitely cover this. Any chance you could share the preset you're having trouble with via the Cortex Cloud? That way I could look at it and make sure I'm hitting the right topic(s). Let me know your Cortex id.

I tried running my QC in to my 2-12 amp and not using a cab in the signal chain; I Loved the result !! 🎉

Not sure when you grabbed it but I made some tweaks lately. Most important, the Kraken will drop out for a moment when you're switching the tube type. So I added a second amp block to fix that. (Stopped switching amp type via scenes and just had separate blocks dedicated to each tube type)

I have been toying with the Hiwatt and Eng 40 with the 65 vibroverb fat from ToneJunkie. i lower the tone and volume about 1/3 to get a really good sound. I’m using a handmade tele with a single coil in the bridge.
