I am trying to build a 2D CPC (compound parabolic concetrator) model in Soltrace for ray tracing. But the shape of CPC is customised. Is it possible to model customised geometry in soltrace as the surface and aperture selection is tricky. Can somebody advice how can I proceed with the geometry creation?

I am really struggling to figure out how SolTrace works. I believe I will only have to use it on a basic level but I am struggling to figure out how to use the software and how everything works. For example how you zoom, what units the software operates with, how to read the flux map, etc. Is there some tutorials someone could recommend, it would be greatly appreciated.

Just to add to this I already read through the help file you get from the SolTrace software itself, which is very lacking in information on how to use the software. It was however very helpful on reading up on the theory used.
