Whilst I'm really enjoying the 9700, why does it not including the 1300-1325 range for UK ATV ? This is quite frustrating and something I hope can be fixed in firmware.

I want the ICOM IC-9700, but can someone tell me if it will possibly work with SDR# software? The SDR# software is beautiful.

Just because there's software inside, doesn't determine one way or the other whether the radio is a full SDR or a hybrid SDR, or even a full analog with SDR effects on the baseband audio. Luis.. you need to think a bit before you post...

@@johnc3403 Yaesu FT450 it was never advertised as an SDR, although it is ... i use a TransFox one, who knows?

@@luispelox9319 The FT-450 is a triple conversion superhet rig with 86khz and 24khz analog IF stages with Mixers, Filters, IF amps, classic AGC circuitry, everything you'd expect to see in a superhet rig. The final IF/AF stage is DSP just like the TS-590 or FTDX1200. These rigs are NOT SDR rigs. I don't understand how you can claim that?
