Good show, looking forward to the review. Also, a really good number of excellent commentors.

My Lightfighter 1 is made in usA and the rainfly design works because it stays like 6 inches off of the ground and never touches the mesh so the moisture goes through the mest onto the inside of the rainfly and runs down and drips on the ground. Litghtfighter also has a cold weather kit for winter months, it works. Make sure you get the military version not the civilian one. *Litefighter 1 OCP Camouflage Individual Combat Shelter 1 Man Tent PART #: FS1100-OCP NSN 8340-01-628-8855 *LiteFighter 1 Ground Sheet PART #: FS1106-TAN NSN 8340-01-628-9164 *LiteFighter I Tuff Sack-Ruggedized Tent Stuff Sack Military PART #: TS1107-OCP NSN 8340-01-691-7696 *LiteFighter Cold Weather Kit (for 1 man tent) - Coyote w/ 4 snow/sand anchors PART #: FS1116-TAN NSN TBD

Thanks. been looking at this tent for a while but the site is sorely lacking in details. You managed to answer my questions about it.

KZbin keeps booting me off. The vestibules are the only thing saving this one . But as you said good for one . I’ll never understand why companies will market good or great equipment and throw fifty cent China Mart stakes in there . Given our humidity you probably have to use it like a bug net and stretch a tarp over in the summer. Good looking little tents set up though. Fairly low profile. Have a good one

Yea I agree. The humidity definitely sucks !!! Thanks for watching John !! 👍👍

Yeah I agree. I'd just use the inner tent and stretch out a tarp above it all. Keep the sun and rain/debris off but still allow great airflow. Good rule of thumb for those new to these types of tents. Just because a tent has 20 parts doesn't necessarily mean you have to use all 20. Adaptation is the key. 👍👍👍

I like the camo (although it's Chinese, right?), but Ill stick with my Litefighter 1.

Yes, I love the camo as well.

You say not ideal in the summer and I'll add that's nowhere sufficient for true winter use... Maybe winter in Alabama or Georgia but not in the north... 🤷♂️

I agree it’s probably not suited for extreme cold. It will make a great 3ish season tent I think. Like early spring, fall and early winter. But again here in the south it will be fine for the winter for sure. Thanks for watching.
