Over the last few years, I have tested and reviewed several SRNE chargers with good results. I've personally used several of their 40 amp MPPT solar controllers and the 50 amp DC-DC Charger. Recently, they contacted me and asked if I would help spread the word about their upcoming complete 12V off-grid package for RVs and Boats. Plans are to install the system into our 34' trawler boat and test it out during this summer's off-grid boating adventures.
Fair Disclosure: I received a review sample free of charge. I received no money and maintained full editorial control over the video content.
In this video, I give you a sneak peek at several of the products and an overview of how the system will be connected together. I'm planning future videos with deeper dives into each component and then the installation of them. In the past, the SRNE brand hasn't been easy to buy in the USA and Canada, but they promised me that it is going to change soon. If that's true it may become a competitor to brands like Victron. Stay tuned.

I'll be interested to see your future tests on theses. The SRNE Inverter / Charger / transfer switch vs the Victron all in one. Not just price point but the actual workings.

Thanks for the sneak peek. Looks like well made components and perhaps another and hopefully less expensive option to Victron. I will be anxiously watching for your future excellent reviews.

Ray, in your following videos for these modules, if you think it's value added, please include the dimensions of each. For me, the first part of my selection process for what brand I installed in my system was "which ones fit?". This could be beneficial for future folks considering these products. Looking forward to your future reviews.

I’ve been looking at upgrading my 40amp dc/dc charger to a 50 or 60amp. Looking at their pricing I may give them a shot.

Thanks Ray! Is that 3K inverter specifically for RVs and boats? It looks huge not to mention the weight.

Yes, that is the market it's aimed at since it's made for 12VDC mobile systems. Most of the residential stuff is 48 volts. If you look at other 3000W 12V low-frequency inverters from companies such as Magnum, Go Power, Samlex, and Victron, they are also large and heavy. Usually, the telltale sign is how much thicker/boxier looking they are to accommodate the large transformer. It's one reason many people go with high-frequency inverters like, for example, my Canadian Tire Motomaster or Xantrex Freedom XC Pro, which use multiple smaller lightweight transformers. The trade-off is more complex, so it may be less durable due to the more internal components required and less instantaneous surge capacity.
