I had never really read any of the Legion until these Silver Age collections, and they are Fantastic! Super fun and imaginative stories! Plus, all the Legion members make the colors so bright with their different costumes and powers!

From DC checklist, Shooter's first story was Adventure comics #346, titled One of Us is a Traitor. So you are right, it's the second volume. Interestingly, he also had another story hit the stands on the same day in which he was the writer. It was the Supergirl story, "Brainiac's Blitz" in Action Comics #339.

What era would the next omnibus collect, does that start the Levitz stuff? I would love to see some Bronze Age Legion Omni’s!

I actually don't know what direction DC would head into in the future. People are especially interested in the Levitz stuff, it's some of the most popular LOSH by far. After the SA, IIRC, the Legion went into Superboy comics for a while, then there were reprint issues in the mid-70's. The Paul Levitz run didn't start until 1980 (I think!). Those Superboy back ups weren't very note worthy, but a logical place to have a BA Legion omni would start with the "new era" of the Levitz run. I'd have to do some research to see if you can start the Levitz era cold or if the preceding issues lead into the Levitz era.

Hopefully, DC will continue releasing the LOSH silver age trade paper backs as they are easier to read than the omnibus editions.

The Mordru story was one of my favorites. It says a lot for Jim Shooter that he could work Pete Ross and Lana Lang into a story and not have it suck.

I hope, in the next omni, they reach what they published in the archives. Will they switch to the "Bronze" line? Well, I take it back, I hope they get a new omni hahaha. With DC you never know.

Then there are the 2 HC Superboy and the legion of super-heroes, that are the first Levitz' run And recently, what was in the middle between those HCs and Levitz's return for volume 2 was announced in February.
