Hey, what do you think of this sample pack? If you need accordion sounds then this has gotta be the pinnacle of that sampled sound. Also apologies I left my heater on in this video (I was freezing) so you may hear that in the background.

So, I got it. It's significantly better than anything free. That is for sure. I know there are other libraries that cost significantly more than this. This instrument is clearly meant for a mix and not solo playing whatsoever. No way. I don't even play accordion, and never have and I can tell you that it doesn't sound authentic enough. The only reason I am sold on it was because it was on sale and it has 6 Round Robin tones per note played. That makes it great for more realism in a mix. Unfortunately, it doesn't quite have that legato-ish sound and it doesn't have that in and out bellows breathing. It's just one continuous flow of air for every single note you're playing. The installation is confusing and I still have no idea if I installed it as intended but it seems to work. You'll see what I mean. There was no license or serial to activate it. Just download files and copy them. That's it. Odd. Oh well. Support the developers and buy it.

Noticed the chords seemed to be “laggy” when using the sequencer. It’s as if the attack was too long. You hear the key noises with a noticeable delay until you hear the chord. Is that because of the settings? Also, can you control the volume of the right hand vs the bass and sequencer chords? The right hand notes seem to overpower the rest of the instrument.

nice. i dig the stuff from wavesfactory. especially the black toms... but.. what if i'm in the mood for a chanson or some edgy tango nuevo? well, that's what the sales periods are for :-D thanks for the review

From what you have shown, the bass chords system seems very rigid and a kind of joke - only a few chords, no space for maj, min + 7 variations of both, only rigid system for timing, it seems to be a dealbreaker for me for an otherwise nice sounding accordion. I want to play whatever bass note whenever I want without having to wrap my mind around some sequencer which hardly makes life easier. Rigid bassline is suitable only for generic mass routine compositions. Thus, Loire seems to be the choice for me.

I’m sorry but the audio in this video was so horrendous I could barely make it past the one minute mark. Microphone placement is probably the worst in here (and why use a pop shield if it’s that far away?). Also the audio from the VST should’ve been recorded on its own.

I understand, it’s probably not the most easiest instrument to capture.
