I bought OW because of 6v6. Things changed, and the dumber things were limited, like 6 torbs. Thats fine. But removing 2 tanks and reducing the player count... I would have never bought this game 5v5. So I'm completely loss. People who stopped playing, they care about the issues that was present being fixed -> bad rank experience or the most common complaint I hear from old OW players -> "its a choke spam fest of a game" or something like that. 5v5 is a really terrible change and most polls are overwhelmingly against it so far (in Korean its even more drastic with less than 5% in their polls). Blizz needs to start gathering mass opinions and listening, OW2 should not have anything so grossly "worrying" about its core design.

I do agree that the change is very jarring especially since none of us have had the chance to try it out! I do think everyone should give it an honest chance since it does have the potential to improve the game! I remember people being very against 2-2-2 when it first came out and now that they have fixed a lot of the balance issues I think the game is in a much better spot. WIth that being said I do think the synergies between 2 tanks is the best part of OW (it is the reason I play). I am very nervous about the change but overall I am willing to give it a shot! especially if it ends up helping the game grow!

Why do gamers always react in outrage first? I have no doubt this will be a positive change for the game. Players will come to appreciate it just like role lock.
