I'm sure before hog met junkrat he ended up either finding ana or ana found him roughly at the start of the omnium explosion in Australia. it doesn't at all surprise me that they met though because that's even hinted at with their toast victory poses both being them holding up teacups

Roadhog is very broken his home was not only taken by the government but was also destroyed because of his actions he was trying to fix the world for him and other but ended up completely destroying it he probably blames himself he’s now enjoying himself more but he can’t take compliments which I think is because he may simply hate himself he’s stated in the comics that all people are bad but so is he

@@sebas_hi Roadhog doesn't seem as broken now because he realized that even after all that, he realizes things aren't over for him and he still has a future. Junkrat showed him they have a role to fulfill. A misguided one but a role all the same. Roadhog is slowly breaking down his walls and enjoying time with Junkrat more and more and some of Junk's behaviors are rubbing off onto him. As for the compliments thing, i'd assume that since most people avoid him because they're intimidated/scared of him, he's never been complimented before and isn't sure how to respond. His interaction with Kiriko is a prime example.
