Generally, when the character model is not loaded, it is because the game can't load the model fast enough. Usually happen when Overwatch is installed on an HDD and something else is also accessing that HDD. Imagine installing Overwatch and Windows on the same HDD and Windows also perform update while Overwatch is running, you will see this happen. It is rarely happen with an SSD, but it's also Windows so you might never know.

Those "light bulb things" for teammates and the enemy team has happened to me a few times, mainly in ow 1 when I had a crappy pc. Also sometimes the sound would go away too or when the hero select screen wouldn't show up until the game started. I had to hope nothing would mess up in my games when I waited for queue 😭
