Ok ok so ! I'm Hyaku the bronze player, i'm actually a girl (Angie too, thats why we're typing like that, it's for us to recognize each other girlies bc of bad experience with male gamers) playing on my laptop with 20 to 30 fps constant ! I have 400hours on OW but like i said, I'm playing since 2017, but at this time i was eleven, on ps4, and i was only able to play 2 weeks a year or somethings bc we cannot afford the PS+ I started playing on my pc in april this year. I'm playing for fun, just discovering strategy and i started playing in comp in season 12 ! All i do i having fun in qp most of the time trying character i barely know, but only in qp ! I never said i was good, or my art was, i'm just a girl having fun :) I'm not a Stream and KZbin Girl, i barely watch videos tbh, Frogger is fun and chill, i like his vibe, Flats i only watch trailer review or things like that tho like i said i dont like him much. Since this video, i climbed up to Bronze 1 (started bronze 5 and 4 everywhere) and stopped playing comp right after hitting those rank, at least alone, because my pc is having more and more lag, my mouse is dying and i started to encounter Holder (i think that the word for it ?? U know people who only play in attack so the game is 1 hour long with 8 rounds) That's all, i just wanted to explain myself, i wasnt aware i was about to end on this video ! Oh and, on FurAffinity it wasn't only my profile but drawing my friends made for me too ! @@kyoguro_rengoku haven't heard about this mechanic. average percentage for wins and losses is 20%. then it gets slightly modified by "uphill battle" or "expected" and other. it varies around 18-23% usually. Percentage may be very high with "calibration" modificator, and can be very low with "wide group", where u need to play with someone who has rank difference of 10 divisions to get 10% instead of 20%. idk how in bronze awkward kept getting 4-5%. cause ive played like 700 games in comp since this new rank system came out in season 9, and if not considering wide group matches and calibration matches, the lowest i've ever got was like 17-18%. the highest - around 24-25% with 2-3 positive modificators like uphill battle and others. and after 700+ matches or even more i have not seen any corelation with ur stats. u could zen with lower heals / dmg / kills, and get 22%, and could play juno on start with massive healing, dmg and kills numbers and get 19-20%. And to add, i've not heard about something similar from any content creator ( who constantly play ) or developers

@@tesla9471 It’s not random. The player base grew and you happened to be better than some of the new folks. Silver 3 is the new Bronze 2 just like Champion is the new GM. They shifted the players to the appropriate spots because of the influx of new players. There are now more players in Gold/Plat than there ever was in OW1. It’s called clumped distribution and it has nothing to do with randomness. It has to do with matchmaking and pitting appropriate players against each other in a reasonable amount of time.

This literally happened to me. A random stay as team invite after we won, and me and one other accepted. The three of us qeued together, and after a couple games it became obvious that one was a Smurf. Kept playing, and eventually found out he was a GM account seller. Carried me from silver 5 to gold over the course of a couple nights. 😂 Dude was actually really cool. I got some general tips from him, and got him to play my main for a couple games so I could watch the VOD. I re-examined my gameplay, and have held on to it for 3 seasons- even went up a couple tiers.

I was dicking around in high bronze/low silver on an alt with my friend who was doin the same thing, and our challenge was to try and lose and it was nearly impossible. All you have to do to blend in is just afk for 15s at a time then full send 1v5 every other "fight"

I'm in Gold but that's because I played a few games with a friend and we work together pretty well. I don't take the game seriously at all, which is why I only play Quickplay (outside of when my friend wants to play comp). Imo if you're having a good time it doesn't matter what rank you are or whether you die in game/throw a game (as long as it makes you happy/is still fun the way it happens). It's fun seeing your rank go up and down but at the end of the day that's all it is. You have to ask yourself, what do you want? Do you want to have fun? Do you want to rank up? Do you want to stop playing? All of these are valid.

If you just learn the game and what the characters and their ults do, and you dont try to fight 1v5, youll instantly be silver. but 1400 bronze is several deviations higher skilled than the 600 sr bronzes youre playing in some of these lobbies. the gap is wide. the rank that's actually hard to get out of is gold/plat, because most people are average, and when average people try really hard to get good at overwatch, they get as good as the other average people also trying really hard, and they all meet in the same rank, gold/plat.

He's good mechanically, and has some basic game sense but he's certainly not a genius, he often makes dumb mistakes when we play in QP lol. I'm saying this not to berate him or you, but to show that it's quite possible. That being said, he started in like gold 3 or so, so he only had to rank up a few divisions.

As an experiment a few years back (ow1) my mate who was "hardstuck" bronze after being gold for most seasons asked me to prove getting out of bronze is easy. I'm a pleb ass masters player and all I did on support was lock lucio, no wallride, no shooting, no speed. Just stay on heal on the floor doing essentially nothing. I got it back to gold in around 30 games. Standing around watching people exactly like in this video is a wild experience.

he would never do it. Two reasons: hes bad with controller and would reach max mid Gold if hes lucky. Second bronze lobbies on console are full of high ranked smurfs ( Master, Diamond. Even t500 sometimes, no joke). Bronze lobbies on EU server are nothing like he showed in this video. The reality is completely different. greetings
