I am in New Zealand and was staying up the whole night waiting and watching the whole open ceremony. Honestly, Jeff did so well on stage and I actually cried watching the cinematic and gameplay. No he won't, Genji's no Lightning, The Rain Transformed. His Dragon Blade can't kill something of that magnitude in one cut. In the official Overwatch Comics, just by drawing the sword to summon the power of the dragon puts a heavy strain on his body, even with his enhanced cybernetics. One swing overheats his entire body like an iron furnace, the Dragonblade technique in its full power is a double-edged sword. So long story short, if Genji would somehow want to cut the giant robot in one swing, then he'd be dead.

Yeah, Mei's gameplay reputation may have memed her up to be this devil figure to a lot of players, but I'll always totally ignore that in favour of her character in the story. She's my favourite character and she'll always be both an adorable and inspiring person to me. I had the same reaction to story missions! It's refreshing to see someone get excited for this since I know few people who are that into this, but the prospect of a proper story mode to Overwatch with actual cutscenes is more than enough to sell me on this game alone. I think the reason Mei gets so much hate is because of how she's played in-game. First, getting slowed down by her ice spray is frustrating as ****. Second, once you're frozen, you can't do anything at all while Mei strolls up, charges her secondary fire, and executes you, all without changing expression so she comes across like a bit of a psycopath. Also, she's got the only ability in the entire game that can actually block her own teammates, so trolls and throwers can have a lot more fun with Mei than with other heroes.

We’re essentially paying for the story which they could have added to the first game but they want to use the new engine, the single player, co op content is essentially what gives Overwatch 2 its value. The people that play the game exclusively for the PvP have NO reason to buy Overwatch 2, besides the improvements on how it looks and/or feels, there’s no reason to buy it if you already had the first one.
