A quick primer on the lore. TF2 does not take place in our shared universe. It takes place in a much cooler one. One where there are eagle scourges, William Shakespearaclese was both the greatest playwright and warrior to ever live, and Australia is home to a radioactive substance known as Australium which acts as a super agent that has transformed the inhabitants of Australia into super intelligent, super strong super humans that are well, super. Within this universe, there is a family known as the Mann family. Zepheniah Mann was one such Mann, whose wife gave birth to three triplet boys. Redmond, Blutarch, and Grey. Grey Mann was born with super intelligence, able to speak at birth, but was sickly in appearance. He was quickly abducted by eagles on the day of his birth separating him from his family, which was probably the for best because his dad was on the verge of disposing of him anyway given his appearance and freakish nature. Grey would be raised by his eagle family for a while until he grew strong enough to kill his fellow nest mates, eat them, and then moved on to establish himself in the world. The Mann family earned its fortune by making Mann things including weapons, explosives, and otherwise awesome tech and contraptions in a world befitting that of one Bill Shakespearaclese inventing rocket jumping as a means of reaching second floors of buildings, and then subsequently also invented stairs for the weak and feeble people unable to rocket jump. Zephenia's two remaining sons Redmond and Blutarch would become convinced that the world was on the verge of a new technological breakthrough in which gravel would become an intricate part of all things. So, with their father in his twilight years, they'd convince him to buy thousands of acres of worthless desert in the U.S. South West known as the badlands, convinced of the potential goldmine to be had in harvesting gravel. Something Zephenia hated his imbecile sons for doing to him. When he died he would leave his company to his longtime friend Barnabas Hale. His estate and fortune were given to the family maid and caretaker Helen, and to his sons he entrusted only the worthless heaps of land they had swindled him into buying. He would make them share it, however, knowing that they would bicker and fight as they always had over it unto their dying days. Sure enough, they did just that, escalating their attempts to murder one another and claim their sibling's land for themselves into a full-on war in which they hired mercenaries to fight on their behalf. Mercenaries such as Abraham Lincoln. After years of conflict, the brothers were locked in a perpetual stalemate until one brother had a brilliant idea. As they were both growing older, he realized that it might just be more advantageous to outlive his brother rather than try to kill him, So he hired an engineer by the name of Radigan Conagher to build him a life-perpetuating machine that would extend his natural lifespan. Not long after Conagher was approached by the former maid of the Mann estate Helen who persuaded him to take the job and build the machine using a mysterious element known as Australium as its power source. She offered to pay and allow him to use Australium for his own means so long as he agreed to a single condition, that being, he had to make a second machine for the other brother as well. Thus the Gravel Wars have continued for generations all the way up to the current incarnation of mercenaries, those being the ones we all know and love. Behind the scenes, Helen has played both the likes of Blutarch and Redmond for fools, though to what end we are still unsure. Eventually, Grey Mann would make his return having been intelligent enough to make his own life-extending machine for himself. Luring both of his brothers to the Alamo having rented it and transported elsewhere, Grey would reveal himself to his long-lost family once more shortly before killing them and taking ownership of their assets. His true aim however is to reclaim the birthright and true source of his family's fortune Mann Co. which now resides in the hands of Barnabus' descendant Saxton Hale. With his new position he has fired the mercenaries who once fought each other on behalf of his brothers, replacing them with automaton combat robots (that are powered by money) and has begun an assault on Mann Co. itself to take the company by force. This has rather conveniently convinced Hale to re-hire the mercenaries to fight the robots in order to save his factories from the mechanical threat. That is where things stand today.

you weren't kidding when you said [everything] but there is atleast 100xmore vids from the community like plz react to the comic it is canon, it explains some hallowed bosses, you get to see soldier [redacted due to spoliers] which is really funny and a lot more sldo watch lazy purple vids cuz they are really fun and most importantly gives you info about how to play the game, tips and tricks and play styles it really helps, it is optional tho

Medic is a loved class, and very rewarding to play. In pubs, everyone enjoys having a medic on their team, even a brand new derpy acting one. The problem comes in the fact his gameplay can get stale, because if you wanna be good, you’re railroaded on two of your three equipment choices The crusaders crossbow replaces the syringe gun. You trade your rapid firing needles for a single crossbow bolt. But this crossbow bolt has a base damage of 25, does more damage the further away the target is, up to 75, and it will heal for 200% of the damage it would have dealt if you hit a teammate instead of an enemy. This is insanely good once you get decent at predicting shots with it, and essentially overshadows every other option in the slot The ubersaw swings slower than stock melee, but it has the benefit of any strike that deals damage to a player instantly fills 25% of your ubercharge meter (that effect where Heavy became invulnerable in Meet the Medic? That’s stock ubercharge). This too, is far more useful than any of the other options in melee for medic. In short, be prepared for gameplay to start feeling samey as medic. But I’d still suggest playing rounds as him

Very helpful advice. It is better to set automatic reloading, because recharging here has no negative effects as in other games, you can safely shoot during reloading, it will just reset

By the time playing TF2 you will get more weapons as you get more ways to play this game. And one thing, after the match ended just leave from this server, because people choose again and again the same map. Just search a new server.

Mann VS machine as the 1st video shows is a team of 6 players vs swarms of robots the robots vary from medics with 15 second uber invincibility (default is 10 for players), soldiers that can spam out rockets like machine guns, and the giants which have absurd amounts of health and some giants even have a boss health bar with special gimmicks like reflect everything that isnt a bullet, or a giant demo man whose bombs explode as soon as the touch ground and the explosion radius is massive. in the 2nd mvm video, medics get an activated temporary protective shield that blocks everything and if the robots run into it it deals some dmg to them. in the end of the video heavy had a unique minigun. these were added in the 2 cities update which added a unique reward drop chance (like 1%) to get a golden variant of certain weapons this gold color variation is referred to in-game as australium. and these weapons are like a medal to show off either hey im good enough at mvm to have played enough to get this rare weapon. mvm also has boot camp (practice online mode) and Mann Up mode (this is kinda like online mode but with rewards for finishing(this requires a tour ticket but its dirt cheap $0.99 per ticket) mann up has a thing called tours where there are multiple games u need to do to finish the tour at the end of a tour u get extra rewards, depending on the tour you can get common items like the sandvich, or on tougher tours kill-streak kits that enable a kill-streak counter which can show a message like KingdomAce is on a rampage (15). or Player ended KingdomAce's killstreak (15). or even the elusive gold that is australiums
