Overwatch is a pretty fun game. It's complicated, but it remains an exciting game for a long time because of it. There's always a new hero to learn and master. But the gist... There's damage heroes, tank heroes and healer heroes. Tanks have more health and generally have shields. Damage has less health, but deal a lot of damage, healers usually have about the same health as damage heroes, but they deal less damage and have healing abilities. Each hero has a couple of abilities and also an "ultimate" (icon in the bottom center of screen). Players build up ultimates as time passes and they help the team. Whenever you see some crazy visuals on the screen, it probably means that someone used an ultimate.

im masters on all roles but I played on one of my plat support accounts you cant play mercy (in that elo because a lot of it is rng especially playing mercy) you have to play something that will change fights and have a bigger impact for example, ana get 6 man anti nades, sleep ults etc. also punishing bad play, or just being better than the same role enemy will win you games, also if you really deserve it your mmr will go up and and you will gain more and lose less if you get better stats than the average (hero you are playing) player in your rank your mmr will increase like I said before (hope this makes sense im bad at explaining especially a game like overwatch)
