lefty, do you even play roadhog more than once a week, roadhog is extremely unreliable in damage and 600 health isnt even that good considering how easy he is to kill when focus fired by more than one person, i can kill roadhogs by myself as mei just because he cannot reliably one shot me with hook melee combo. Yes roadhogs hook is broken, but play roadhog more, hooks also work against the hog because it does not pull them straight to you every single time, and even then you sometimes cant one shot them due to hook not pulling people in as close as other characters. Example zenyatta/lucio/soldier/tracer/hanzo can reliably be one shot by his hook because his hook brings them close enough for hook shoot melee combo. ana/reaper/mei on the other hand cannot be reliably one shot by hook shoot melee combo. Ana is not pulled close enough for roadhogs melee range and reaper for some reason never gets 1 shot when he has full hp as well as mei unless you are right on top of him by walking up to him when ya hook him, but by doing so you could misalign and fire having them not be one shot and you immediately dying. If you do not one shot ana you will either be sleep darted and heal grenaded or heal grenaded and sleep darted, and with reaper he can wraith and get away, or depending on your health one shot you back. Mei can just ice block then wall herself off after ending cryo sooner before she gets instakilled the millisecond she leaves it. The reason why roadhog needs a buff is because the only thing about him thats good is his hook one shots, and his hook one shots are unreliable, therefore roadhog is an unreliable character. He is literally the most healthpooled dps character, he is not a tank without his self heal given how easy it is for characters to kill him. Also his ultimate is literally garbage without ana boost, zarya bubble, or if someones against a wall up or perfectly in its one shot range. The issue with the symmetra buff is that her photon barrier can completely shut down roadhogs hook as well as his ultimate. Her shield generator makes anyone have 75 more health that regenerates as long as the generator is up. That means that now roadhog cannt one shot most squishies anymore if they are running a symmetra defense generator, and especially if they are doing symmetra and torbjorn combo. Tracers with a symmetra on their team become the scariest shit because roadhog now cant one shot reliably because of shield generator. Its also been extremely easy for symmetra to kill roadhog due to her leveling gun the longer its held on, her small hitbox, and her health now boosted with shield generator. Now to delicious and what he/she said. You do realize pharah got buffed because soldier and mccree made her useless right? Roadhog will hopefully get buffed because symmetra now will make most or all roadhogs even more unreliable in killing.
